I know this is rare and shouldn't be the basis to evaluate a set, but every damage tick I took during that event felt like a really devoted teabag by @ZOS_Wrobel.
I tried testing Sloads when it first came out and never manage to get Sloads to proc Skoria. Are you sure it wasn't the burning effect from the initial Skoria hit that procced the second Skoria.

Where the Sloads projectile came from? The dead body of his avatar? I assumed that since Sloads proc was made projectile, this chain shouldn't be happening any more

If you add a delay and make it dodgeable you’ll just have a magicka Selene. It’s a set then that nobody would use any longer.
why not work velidreth to have a 6% chance to proc a spore inside an enemy with an aoe splash damage of 3 meters...? and a guarantee hit always 100% unless you are a nb. i'm being sarc@sticbut yeah no stam proc set gives you a guarantee source of dmg like skoria a little unfair if you ask me.

It has a max health bonus as a one peice name another op proc set that had a crappy one peice
Everyone’s spell resist is normally much higher than physical
As a user of this set I think it’s pretty balanced and average set I’m a mag temp and have about 5 dots on my bar to make this set viable still doesn’t proc on cool down.
This thread looks like mostly stam blades asking for nerds on one of the only og sets that has already been nerfed.

Quit trying to nerf sets. No one is really complaining about Skoria in pvp or pve.

Well sorry for wanting some consistency with the changes that have affected every other monster helmet dmg proc set but if you're gonna leave Skoria alone then bring back unavoidable Selene, no delay on velidreth and tremorscale and so on.
I'm not saying it's gamebreaking but nothing in this game is made for 1v1 purposes and in the context of a team fight where at least other 4 players are involved, you get hit with a lot of splash damage that is not even intended for you. Most of these have clear indicators where a safe zone is located but Skoria hasn't recieved the same changes.
And when you start adding up all the damage and (at least in no CP) the average player in light/medium has between 20-22k Health, the unavoidable damage from Skoria which ranges from 3-5k is a substantial part of your HP that gets cut down pretty fast even with a couple HoT's going off.
Cause it's really not just one guy running this. I can handle 1v1 vs someone using skoria vipers sloads and bleeds and whatnot but the moment someone else enters the picture, with the same type of setups it literally becomes unbearable and even healing at the best of my ability with vigor, troll king, lingering pots, moving around corners and walls is not enough to cope with all the DoTs, Skorias ticking away. And the only effort those people had to kill me was coming next to me and pressing 1 or 2 buttons and moving on to the next person. That is really not the most compelling and engaging gameplay.
With an indicator at least, I might not dodge it every time but at least it will give me a chance to do so, if the conditions are met.

Do you miss your Selene/Veli one-shots that were almost always timed with an Incap? Sounds like it.
They were nerfed because they were being abused with full proc set builds (Viper, Red Mountain, MS) - Skoria is not being abused.
So pretty much all damage proc monster sets have either a delay, a ground target or both , that is visible where the damage is going to happen.
My question is why hasn't this been implemented to the Skoria monster set?
It really makes no sense that someone puts a dot on you, while you're already under pressure, move behind obstacles and out of los but have a dot on you and suddenly a meteor falls on your face and kills you, even if you already were supposedly in a safer position.
If you're gonna do these type of adjustments for all sets, then really do it for all sets.
This will have 0 impact on PVE while it will give people a chance to dodge the meteor on pvp (which still hurts doing about 3-4k damage and up to 5k if you're a vamp).
Skoria hits around 5k to a naked target. Spell resist eats up to 50%, plus blocking, plus Minor Maim, Major/Minor Protection reduces the damage even more and in the end you end up with whooping 1k damage if you are lucky.
If you nerf the damage it will be absolutely useless.

Nobody is wanting the damage to be nerfed. Only that it has a visual indicator on par with changes that have occurred to the other monster sets and, possibly, being able to dodge it.
Also, it absolutely does not do 1k damage, at least in No CP which is what I play. I have plenty of screenshots if you want, always over 4k at least.

On a dark elf user casting it on a vampire it hits like 10-15k
Most people don’t build to be able to have & maintain every mitigation in the game as you have listed.
Do you even know the methods & how many exist for gaining minor & major protection?

Skoria hitting 15k on a player? What a ridiculous lie, what an insane lie. How did you think were gonna get away with saying that Valkyn Skoria hits for Fifteen Thousand damage against another player character.
Did you think nobody would notice the most obvious lie in human history?
