I hope I’m wrong. But I’m already kiting Zergs on my mag sorcs and picking off the straglers, so... yeah.
Trust me; on this; you indeed are wrong. Sorc is not, in anyway, stronger with crits hurting Shields.
Nope, not with 90% dodgeable, not with purgeable burst, and kiting is non-existent with gap closers
Oh and resistance means nothing to bleeds and 2h ult
Well let’s see.

Now that shields scale off of resist stacking swift doesn't seem to be a bad way to go...along with that expedition you get from storm...and streak. I like it.

Nerfs to mobility mean that a well built mSorc can kite and kill from range effectively, but can be punished if locked down. Stam still does stam stuff, just with no broken glyph builds, and they are rewarded for active dodge and having major evasion to buffer their weakness against AoE. mNB counters bleeds, and a well played one is still gonna be one of the most annoying things in the game. mTemp still going to be useful and same for mDK. I honestly think that everything is balanced out pretty well, with the Rock-Paper-Scissors model. No jack of all trades, master of all definitive META but good players being strong in their favorable situations.

Depends on how you define strong.
If potatomashing is your goal - sorc is strong.
If you want to be able to kill competent opponents at an average or above ability to play this game - sorc isn´t and won´t be until it´s offense gets a major revamp.
It´s easy to counter with dodge, block, purge, absorb, reflect, cloak and to some extend still shields.
But the easiest counter is simply reach enough effective hp (hp + mitigation combined) to be not burstable by the sorc. If you do that and are a half decent player you won´t die to a classic sorc setup running around in cyro anymore.

You can still kill above average players on sorc though. The players I have a hard time killing are the heavy armor players with absurd weapon damage. I feel as though I burst them it takes half their health if that and they pop vigor and are back up to full. With streak and LoS I can make it difficult for them to kill me as well though especially since most don't use gap closers.

Yes if they run bad/burstable builds.
It´s not even heavy armor - try killing a good player with impreg or pariah on and above 25k hp. Try killing anything with 1h and shield and a burstheal. It´s not going to happen.
This is less of a problem on NB or warden because those classes are not entirely setup around delayed burst. Though i agree that anything projectile based is generally a step behind non projectile builds.
