I usually get 50+FPS, dropping to 30ish when stuff gets crazy, in Mirkmire I'm usually in the 20s in a best scenerio not in delves and dropping almost to 10 when I move. And it's not my computer.-- @xaraan --

I would not be surprised if this was the name that some random imperial expedition gave... Most likely in Jel (native argonian language) it already has a name and is called differently.1 -

That's obviously what the problem is here. "Anything lizard" is pretty embarrassing of a name. It's not exactly subtle.
When I started playing this, about half of all food ingredients I didn't realize were real world things. Stuff like metheglin and yerba mate, I thought they made those up. Over the years I looked them up one at a time and got educated and now the immersion's better.
In Skyrim they wanted nordic zombies, so they did a little research and came up with the mythological draugr.
They certainly could have come up with a lizard with a more interesting sounding name than ... lizard.

The Argonians themselves are apart from any evolutionary pattern. They are created by the Hist using the humanoid template as a guide.
It is really not at all surprising and certainly seems plausible that the Hist would create other lizard-x hybrids.
I was really not expecting to like Murkmire, since I never really cared for Argonians in general, but the story, background and explanation of how they live and be was all very fascinating and I liked it much more than those stuffy Summerset elves.
Also the environments and music were very well done. Great atmosphere. And I didn't like Shadowfen or the other swampy area in EP at all.5 -

✭As atrocious as the whole concept of making lizard bears and lizard horses is, I try to think of them as just lizards. Not bears. Not horses. Not wolves. Lizards. They just happen to have the same skeleton rigging as the regular mounts and move like _______ without actually being _______ .
Otherwise it's just silly.
I sure hope they don't actually call them majestic Iguana-bears (wolves, horses, senches, etc) though, because that would completely ruin what credibility they still have
