@Aylasa - you'll get the money back and your details are safe...but if you're still worried just use PayPal if you'd rather not leave your CC details with this company.
Yeah bit of a mess, but might as well roll with it.@Aylasa - you'll get the money back and your details are safe...but if you're still worried just use PayPal if you'd rather not leave your CC details with this company.
I can try that. I'm still rather angry that this even has to happen, but judging by their customer support, I guess it cannot be helped.
Setting up a subscription doesn't mean you get charged immediately - they will add a fee that gets refunded soon as your details gets checked out and you still have 30 days to decide if you want to play or cancel your sub.

They shouldn't have to do that though. Hell Blizzard charged a dollar to your account to verify. Charging the full amount is nonsense even if you do get refunded.

Nobody is going to convince me this is right, plus thare are no prepaid cards in my region \o/
Well gg Zenimax gg me
It is a common thing. Now I'm not sure if everyone screaming at ZOS is upset about this very standard practice or if they're misunderstanding and don't realise they don't have the money taken from them immediately or if they're just being wretches.correct me if im wrong. but isn't setting up a subscription plan before you get access to the free 30 days common practice?
Its a bad practice regardless of how standard it is, like buying a pizza and before getting it handled over, the delivery boy demands to see your wallet in case you lack the cash for the pizza that you may or may not purchase next week,if you got no more dough, you dont even get the one you just paid for and hes holding in front of you.It is a common thing. You purchased two copies, but don't even have enough money to set up a subscription? How do you people even manage to pay for food with a mindset like this?@Aylasa I feel ya, I'm in the same boat.. I spent $120 for two copies, without the information that I needed to have a valid subscription to receive my "free" 30 days that I get with the purchase of the game. Not to mention, it's the beginning of the month, Bills were just paid, I do not have the funds to "verify" the account just yet.. which means I can't play until I do, which is complete and utter B.S. I just paid $120 to play.... and now it's useless until I can prove to Zenimax that I have a valid account, which btw.. is the same account that i JUST used to pay for the game!!
But why the drama? Why don't you just ignore the stupidity of it and do what you have to do to get what you want to happen. They could make a 30 bucks charge to ensure you have funds for the next two months, or why not six? its the same principle.
Yeah, sure, it's a bad business practice, but if you disagree with it, why would you buy a pizza in the first place and then complain about it?Its a bad practice regardless of how standard it is, like buying a pizza and before getting it handled over, the delivery boy demands to see your wallet in case you lack the cash for the pizza that you may or may not purchase next week,if you got no more dough, you dont even get the one you just paid for and hes holding in front of you.It is a common thing. You want to keep playing now? Just do the auth and don't let it stress you out (let alone come to the forums and stress everyone else about it out as well).

Because ignoring it is the same as supporting it, because theres people who cant afford having 15 bucks on hold, and because its not right to demand fund checkups on an already paid product. Ill keep playing cos both me and my gf love the game, but that wont stop me from pointing the finger on yet another *** decission from ZoS.But why the drama? And if you can't afford having $15 on hold, then why are you playing this game in the first place? Why do you even have a computer with internet access? Because all that they have already covered and they live from paycheck to paycheck? you get enough examples of that with 2mins browsing this threads. And if you can't afford having $15 on hold, then why are you playing this game in the first place? Maybe they should stick to f2p games and get a real job before they try out with the big league p2p bourgeoisie.Because all that they have already covered and they live from paycheck to paycheck? you get enough examples of that with 2mins browsing this threads. And if you can't afford having $15 on hold, then why are you playing this game in the first place?
