As the title states, do you frown upon others for either not paying for ESO+ or that they do? Poll is anonymous so be honest~ No one will know.

I play with ESO+ because I can't live without craft bag, but I hide this fact, in my society it is considered bad to spent any money on games.

I try not to judge anyone based on finances.

Also, the only tangible between eso+ and non eso+ at this point is 700 item limit. Thanks to crown store and now crown gifting all content is available for all players through multiple sources.

Only way non eso+ would affect you is visiting other players houses.

So basically you would be judging someone on having 50% less slots.

Also everyone who doesnt sub still bought the game, contributing to the bottom line.

Also, there are people who are not eso+ that buy more than sub costs every month, so do they lool down upon lowly subs only paying 15 bucks a month?

Idk, now that I'm an adult the monthly subscription isn't a big deal and almost necessary for me to play this game, but I remember being a kid and it seemed completely absurd to pay for subscription services or crowns and other micro-transactions for that matter.

I remember waiting for my Birthday or Christmas for a game every year, meaning I really only got 2-3 big games a year and one of them was almost always CoD.

There is no point to caring if someone pays for a subscription, I don't really understand the point of the poll. Different people find value in different things they pay for.

I'm choosing not to vote because this just seems silly. Why are there 6 options too?

I don't care, its everyones choice (or financial situation).

As in many other games, I found there are good and bad people without correlation to if they pay or play for free (although the worst usually have free "throwaway" accountsm which thankfully are not that big an issue in ESO thanks to the BtP policy)

In this regard, I only frown upon those who make ill-considered "gimme" demands despite not supporting the game... but then, I would frown on ill-considered "gimme" demands from those who do buy ESO+ as well, so...

Well, there was one 'issue' I had that I kind of related to not having the crafting bag, but I was wrong about it and thus there is zero reason for any kind of 'frowning' upon people who don't have ESO+. I'm actually really happy for people without ESO+ to get to see Murkmire (and it might get them to consider getting other DLC... see how ZOS thinks

). If anything I'm happy that ESO gives people ways to play without a monthly payment.

Because if you have ESO+, you ought to have enough inventory space to empty chests and not cherrypick nodes.

And if you don't have ESO+, neither do I, and I manage to empty chests and don't cherrypick nodes.

Okay, I judge, but ESO+ has nothing to do with it...

Sometimes when people talk about how they can't afford ESO+ or unable to buy it, others might say things like, "It's just 15$, how can you not afford it?" or something along those lines. Like, people have their reasons. Just because you can afford it every month, doesn't mean other people can. Yeah, it's cheap, but not everyone is fortunate enough to have money to spare frequently.

It's even worse when people get judged or made fun of for not being able to afford things.

I mean really what's the point of this poll? To show that ZOS is an evil empire out for nothing but money? Larf. THEY'RE A COMPANY. If they don't make money to support their employees, their infrastructure, and future development their games and servers go away. It's that simple.

As with any product if you are not happy with it, you are free to speak with your dollars and walk away.

Other ESO player's financial status is not my business. How they spend their money regardless of their financial status is also not business.

However, I'd encourage players who enjoy the game, and can afford ESO+ to pay it. Support the developers of the game you love and earn extra rewards in the process. It's a win-win scenario.

Doesn't everyone basically comment on threads because they are bored? It's a time-killer between tasks while at work, and I assumed everyone else had similar reasons for posting on here. Unless you're getting paid to post here, I don't see any other reason than being bored.

But to answer the polls question, I only tend to frown on people who complain about server performance/glitches but don't contribute to the game by ESO+ or crown store. Complain, but don't want to contribute. Other than that, I could care less about what everyone has.

Who cares. The only time it comes up is on guild nights when several people want to do something but 1 person can’t because they don’t have the dlc. It’s a momentary disappointment but “doing stuff together” is more important than what gets done in that scenario.

Nah, I don't see it as a one choice fits all. I play only one game at a time - usually daily and often for years before moving to another. So ESO+ makes perfect sense for me and I definitely get my money's worth. For players who play infrequently or who bounce among many games, it may not make sense.

I only frown upon people who use accent marks and special characters that fundamentally alter the way those names would be pronounced. Particularly if they're intended as facsimiles for pop culture characters.

I really don't care to scrutinize if your bag animation is of the invisible or bottomless variety.

I'm the kind of guy who just simply don't care how people play the game. I play the game my way and see no reason to look down on others for playing/paying for the game otherwise.
