I'd give it a C-. I had been in PvP regularly, but I feel discouraged now with the cheese builds. On the other hand, they did a good job with stamina DPS, and my stamplar got good buffs. However, in general, it was a bad patch for most players.

Deep, UTTER failure.

The content portion is actually nice.

But the "gameplay" "balance" has objectively failed.

Objectively, because the awful Champion Points system - that is the very reason why now we can't really "play as we want" any more - is now close to exhausted. We can take most CPs nowadays.

This causes ZOS to be forced to constantly gut, nerf and castrate our classes to keep CP induced power creep under control.

Now, since CP is exhausted, ZOS should have dropped it completely and do a deep, comprehensive game rebalance, to restore ESO to what it was, that is an awesome MMO where we used to play as we wanted.

Instead, they went through a deep game rebalance whilst keeping CP and this cannot work. The result is this F. F for Failure.

Cleansing Ritual still holds. As long as that isn't touched must of the dumb stuff introduced can be worked around. I'd give it an A but there is no solution to killing 70 man groups in cyrodill without resorting to something cheap that would destroy casual groups and make the game un-fun. You sort of have to lean on your shovel and watch the 70 man group go by and when they are done what ever they are doing go back to playing.

-edit The break-free is wonky but I can look the other way for now.

I can't, since it hasn't dropped, but I anticipate something in the "B" range. It'll depend on how much I like the questing content, and if it continues the trend of surpassing my expectations.

Content is good. Execution has been a problem, but they seem to be working through it. Hopefully, this will result in some changes in how they execute in the future.

I'm pretty sure the Devlopment team isn't confused about what the forums think about the Murkmire changes.

I'm also pretty sure they decided to go ahead with #Nerfmire anyway...

Nothing in this batch says Balance to me, just as nothing shows forethought. Devs flip flopped back and forth on many changes they were going to make, nerfing them, then raising them whimsically the following week. Even some of the big streamers were highlighting problems with some things before release and in the end the bottom line is what feels most important with this latest gem of a release.

Not only was the combat teams decisions just plain awful this patch, but QA completely dropped the ball and then kicked it across the playing field before anyone could pick it up. If this is the level of quality we can expect going forward, I want out.

Thanks for the new content (although I’m not fond of swamps) but I wish they would just roll back all the other changes. The annoying new bugs, brutal and unnecessary nerfs, long loading screens, and old bugs that still haven't been fixed all combine to make this one of the worst updates ever.

Im not happy about the speedchanges. surprisingly, all the specs i adapted to the changes feel opaf. not kidding, when has a bow/bow spec ever felt good, let alone op?

iam sure there is no dev team. game was outsourced to different teams from 3thd world countries to save money.

The Murkmire content itself looks great,
but the combat changes, the bugs and the enchant cancer ruin the entire experience.
I do not recognize my once favorite game anymore.

Nerfs galore, broken torugs pact dw exploit that was discovered ON PTS BEFORE LAUNCH, cast time abilities like uppercut, snipe and flare brokren and cancelling before they hit.

Overall, unplayable game.

My stations and banker and merch are bugged and all these idiots keep running up on me in Cyrodiil trying to hit me with rending slashes lol.
