You and [snip] have one thing in common: you blame snipe for cloak. That sniping NB could do the same with crushing weapon and PI; your problem is not with snipe but with cloak.
And yes snipe is so easy to invalidate. Just go by any type of cover and you will never be hit. Someone sniping and cloaking from 40m? Here's an idea, ignore him because he's harmless.
Yeah I occasionally die to snipe-ganker but that doesn't mean anything, just ignore it and move on. What you're really [snip] about is cloak but you for some reason are blaming it on snipe.

Completely agreed. I'm not good with stam builds as it is but am trying to stick with playing my current character. This skill though was instantly swapped out and there's no way it's going back like this. Utterly broken.
If ZOS had to answer to sorcs with shields I'd like to think they'll eventually have to answer to this as well. It's a big problem that completely ruins a skill in pvp and in turn the ability for some players to use two-handed well enough. We should at least have some comment on what's going on.

Given that ZOS’s answer to the shield cast time was to make shields scale to a percentage of your health, I expect they’ll “fix” Dizzying Swing by having it land 100% of the time and scale off spell damage.

I kind of wondered if dark flare suffered from the same issue. Thanks for confirming. It is safe to say now that every cast time skill that isn't a lock-on channel is broken right now. I ran a baby templar through a few public dungeons today, and my dark flare didn't fire at least half of the time. I used to be able to throw it over my shoulder like a basketball trick shot, and if an enemy moved across a room mid-cast it would follow them.
Not so much, now. Really noticable difference.

They will at most close the thread for bumping, so be careful what you are doing and admitting.
Anyway if they decide that things they did need any change, they will make an update to one of next patches and inform. But bumping won't help you either way.
