Unless it is a vet DLC I can carry the DPS load so I wouldn't kick them.

    Exactly this ^

Why bother kicking them if you can just carry the run anyway? Ultimately by kicking them you're just being a Grade A *******.

    I hate elitism so much.

Don't kick, teach. Especially if there's one glaring mistake that's being repeated. If everyone kick the learners, they don't finish learning.

This is why everyone thinks doing the DLC dungeons is impossible in a PuG. No they aren't, but it takes awhile to struggle through teaching people.

If the group was still chugging along and the bosses were going down without wipes then just try and deal with it and get the dungeon done. I'm too much of a nice guy so if I'm the only max CP dps in the group pulling most of the weight I'm not gonna just leave and ruin it for everyone else if we can still get through it.

Kicked, aint got no time for something they should already know

But if they are kicked every time for not knowing then how do you learn?

It's the same thing a lot of people struggle with finding jobs. You have to have experience to get the job, but how do you get the job if nobody will hire you without experience.

This. And if we’re clearing, it’s irrelevant who is doing what for most content.

Let me put this into perspective:

    Vet scalecaller
    3 exp players - 1 new player

I explained every mechanic, asked him to talk <literally would not respond at all>, and we just three man'd it. He died on every single mechanic. He never entered antidote for instance.

Get to the final boss - he activates HM scalecaller. We explain in group were not doing that and obviously wipe to reset. As soon as everyone is up again he instantly hits it - again -.

Thats when we vote kicked his dumb ass out.

So long newbie 323 CP. Could have gotten vet scalecaller while you drooled on your keyboard. Too bad your greedy too.

Never. I’ve had a pretty fun scalecaller peak run with a limited group. I had more than double(almost triple) the DPS of the other guy, the team was clearly not experienced, but we managed. We even wiped multiple times at the final boss due to the statue mechanic and ppl dying because of it.

I don’t enforce elitism whatsoever. I can pull enough DPS for both if it’s needed, and it’s always nice to help those with first clears, just like I was helped when I was a noob myself. Unless the person is clearly trolling, I never vote to kick.

    You are awesome

That's a selfish act. vet DC 2 is easy even with unexperienced people and low dps, you just need good tank. Ver big EGOS these days at eso, pulling big dps is like having big balls between your legs. By replacing that guy (kicking him) you saved, what 5 - 10 minutes of your dungeon gameplay? But you made some1 upset, so ask yourself was that worth it?

The responses in this thread are priceless and illustrate the class hierarchy in our fine country.

The CP121 guy wasnt strong or experienced enough to complete the content, but he queued anyway in hopes of getting a carry. (liberal poor)

I'm CP500 and as stated wasn't strong enough to carry him but have done this vet many times. After trouble on early trash and a wipe, either the healer or tank initiated the kick. We aren't elite but we knew our roles and just wanted to get through the dungeon and get our daily reward (middle class conservative).

The CP780 guys who relish their ability to carry the group and serve as mentors/teachers. Those who believe it is compassion to make half of the team suffer with a time consuming clear. They believe anyone who wants a helmet should have one. They attempt to impose their value system on the middle-class(CP) people, even shaming them for expecting everyone to pull their own weight. (liberal elite).

If I vote kicked the other DPS every time I was doing 65% of group DPS, I would never get through a vet dungeon, as that is pretty much par for the course.

I actually think you need to look inward on this one. If you are a 50K DPS, you will often see numbers like 65%+ of group DPS. If that's the case, accept the fact that you going to carry people most of the time you use group finder. Finish the Dungeon (you have plenty of damage) and maybe make some friends in a decent guild.

If you are say a 25K DPS, and you are pulling 65% of group DPS, well, I would be careful of throwing stones in your glass house. What happens when you get paired with a 50k DPS and (s)he does the same thing?

But what if we (as a group) weren't strong enough to do it without a better dps?

If you want to know the elitism, its people who trash other people for their decision making, who expect that every vet dungeon can be cleared by three people. That is elitism!

it depends on content and what overall group dps is

i mean when i'm doing 65% with my 40+k main it is one story

when i'm doing 75% on my leveling up heal and that 75% is somewhere about 8k because

i'm in heal build and actually healing guys standing in stuped while tanking because tank is fake one... it is another story

I look at their rotation and or difficulty of what YOU know will present itself as your team progresses and decide to either give pointers (some get super defensive, its hit or miss) or just drop out. I actually was in one last night (just simple banished cells) and one of our DD's gave the low CP tank some gear to help him out, very surprisingly it worked too! But the old adage always comes into mind too..make sure your ready to perform at veteran level expectations because if you don't more than likely people will drop, [snip] at you over text chat, or vote to kick you.
