[BUG] Pet still dying to group dungeon bosses

Doing the pledge "Crypt of Hearts I" and my Clannfear died twice on the "Archmaster Siniel" boss.

I was under the impression they were supposed to be immune to damage in group dungeons ...

    I believe they only said pets now immune to AoE and some mechanics that can "spread" or "splash" to allies from dungeon and trial bosses. They can still be target by random single target skills.

    Yeah, for the most part enemies do not seem to target pets preferentially now, but that could just be RNG aggro winning out.

    Combat pets will now take 0 damage while in a Dungeon, Trial, or Group Arena.

    Well , ZOS should write more details .

    The boss may have targeted it with a single target attack. I belive they stopped transfer and aoe damage for pets only.

    Mobs and boss could not play with pet more than 3s, they all could target on pet owner or low hp, low res char. first.

    They are supposed to be immune to all damage within dungeons and trials. This was also confirmed by a dev on the PTS forums a few weeks ago.

    Directly from the patch notes today:

    "Combat pets will now take 0 damage while in a Dungeon, Trial, or Group Arena."

    That was changed like last year. Murkmire was supposed to make pets immune to all damage.

    Hopefully, they'll be willing to kick that over to solo arenas as well. Though, given how Maelstrom aggro seems to work, I'm not 100% certain it's necessary.

    Pets are extremely buggy after this patch. Please have a look into their state asap as several builds rely on them (including the entire magicka warden class).

    It's a bug. The stated intent is for pets to be immortal in group content, so long as the caster is up.

    At least sorcs can re-spec into a non-pet build.

    Magicka warden DPS drops ~5% if we get rid of the bear, and it's already the lowest DPS in the game. We also can't use Master Architect anymore, which is our only form of utility.

    Honestly, the bugfix that is needed is that they make the pet skills work like the NB's shade.

    Everything else INCLUDING the damage immunity = tauntnerf to the pets makes things only worse.

    NB shade takes 0 damage and provide minor maim .
    The trade off that it does super low damages even you have 45k plus magicka and it has duration , recast is required .

    Sorc pet is gonna get the same perk without anything lose .

    Not the same skill - the same mechanic:

    Cast for a duration of 60 seconds or so with no cast time.

    Everything else would stay the same.

    No serious PetSorc needed even the unbugged "immunity from damage" thing. I could keep the Clannfear alive EVEN as Stamsorc.

    What we need is bar space to protect our pets and avoid spamming Heavy Attacks all the time.

    Here is a dev quote confirming that pets are supposed to take 0 damage from all sources in group content:

    On pts my pets died at the same place and i posted on the forum about it. Devs got tired of reading sorc posts most likely.

    Ran ROM yesterday and both sorc pets died repeatedly regardless of totems or statue phase !! Please fix this bug!!
