I can only say what it's not for me.

It's not a corridor, or room, of robots that I memorize to defeat so I myself can become a robot.

That is endgame for others. I won't stand in their way. :*

I don't know. In theory, I guess, it's vet dungeons and trials, like most PvEers. Getting better and doing harder content with the friends and guild mates I've met along the way. I mean, I've still got most of the DLC dungeon hard modes and most of the vet trials left, so it's a long way to go. Sometimes, it seems like it might be achievable. Others, it feels more like I'm trying to climb a trick staircase which, at any moment, ZOS could decide to collapse underneath me.

Sometimes, like tonight, it feels like something people throw around to say whose opinion has value or whom the game should be balanced around. A blunt object with which to beat and belittle those with whom you disagree.

Sometimes, it's what keeps you going. Others, it's what makes you walk away.

Barring the above, or assuming I hit a wall at some point, I guess it's getting all the fish, all the books (provided ZOS fixes the ones that have been bugged for years), and all the motifs on my main toon. Counting motif pages, I think I'm under 200 books away from the second goal (roughly 3774/3941 or so).

End game for me is when the game finally shuts down for good. The servers are shut down, staff is let go and all assets are liquidated.

End game for me is PvP combat. Most everything else is usually a means to that end.

That's not to say other things aren't enjoyable though, I like dungeons, achievement hunting, housing, etc.

Not a fan of the end-game in ESO, everything is about leaderboards and PvP mostly, I'm not into that. So for the most part, ESO remains my casual game where I play 15 alts doing mostly solo questing, random dungeons, or just farming repetitively. I have WoW for my more active end-game with Heroic and some Mythic raiding or Mythic+ Dungeons from time to time. I come to ESO because its just not that serious of a game to relax a bit.

Every time a new DLC/chapter comes I do the quests to get the story and do the dungeons if there are new ones. Then I tend to get the new gear/update my builds on a lot of classes, just to be a little bored when I'm done since it doesn't make that much of a difference with some extra dps/healing/tanking utility here and there for me.

Then I go back to what I really enjoy and seems to be my end game, battlegrounds :naughty:

An obsession with endgame elitist content and PVP to the detriment of the remainder of players is what kills most mmos since EQ2. Locking cosmetics behind the hardest content is an example of this. Most players are not progression raiders or scoreboard pvpers and focusing on these elements will eventually cause the player base to evaporate.

In persistent world MMOs there never has been and never will be an "end game" for me. It's all about my main character's (and supporting characters') ongoing saga(s). And given that companies that maintain persistent world gaming servers need to keep me interested to get my dollars to keep their company going they are always going to be releasing new (And in the case of ESO fun!) content so the story will never end.

Personally, I don't get why people want to hit level [insert highest level whatever here] in 5 minutes. The idea of persistent world MMORPGs is that your characters develop over the years; not the hours. I'm perfectly fine taking my time leveling my characters and skills.

I'm also okay switching from pve, to pvp, to RP, and back and forth to keep myself interested. As a matter of fact, one thing I love about pvp in relation to persistent world gaming is each battle will always be different and always new. Sure I might be defending Alessia for the zillionth time, but each time the battle is fresh. Something exciting, kookie, or downright weird is sure to happen.

End game? Who needs it? Not me. If I wanted an end game I'dl by an offline RPG with a set storyline.

I have no interest in "endgame" in MMOs, people seem to be in a rush to get there and then complain as soon as they do about the lack of things to do, the imbalance in competitive PvE, or the performance in PvP - and also moan about being generally bored and burnt out. I prefer to pace myself through the leveling process with multiple characters, that way I never run out of things to do. Each to his or her own, however, and my understanding is that "endgame" in ESO consists primarily of PvP or competitive PvE, neither of which appeals to me anyway.

I don't think my issue was rushing things, it's just trucking through the repeatitiveness on 15 characters while still maintaining goals to keep the game fresh and fun. Im still here though.

Primarily solo here and all PvE.

My end game is soloing a fair number of normal group dungeons and soloing most non-DLC WBs. I don't mind grouping sometimes with others or even pugging but only for content that I know I can solo.

Zero interest in: DLC dungeons, DLC WBs, NMA/VMA, Trials, PvP. No real complaints as there is plenty of content I do enjoy. I do worry about about possible future changes though. If, for example, non-DLC WBs and dungeons get amped up, that destroys my end game as a solo PvE player and I'm probably gone.

Try Duoing content too, sometimes its more fun than soloing. I duoed nBloodroot with a friend and it was a blast to get done.

I slow played the game finding my way, completing it all, clearing zones Completion was my goal for a while.

that drifted into making my solo play better - vMA to thank for that

I thought it would be trials but the play style disappointment me, I think vDSA is more my PvE group thing.

BUT long story short PvP is my end game. Getting better at 1vX. Mastering the craft, always improving.

    Fun is the main goal.

While most of my day's end up in trials or dungeons. I enjoy the fact I can jump into something else anytime. I have so many goals that I think this game will be catching my attention for many many years.
