Time to make jumping cost something, preferably the more you jump, the higher the cost

    There's a 100% chance I'd have exactly 0 stamina at all times if jumping cost something.

    Patch Notes for next update:
    Jumping is no longer a free ability.
    Each time you jump, 10 crowns will be deducted from your account. If you try and jump and don't have enough crowns. A pop up advertisement will come up on your screen prompting you to purchase more crowns.

    There is a legitimate issue with people who never stop jumping in pvp. They do this to screw up the targeting of them, and the defenders of the mechanic know this, and they like their exploit. But an exploit is what it is, even if it's not a substantial one. (jumping moves the hit box)

    The cost should be minimal, but exponentially increasing for the abusers. So that for normal players not abusing the exploit they would never notice the cost.

    It says a lot about this community that the average response is "get gud" rather than addressing the actual issue raised.....and those things it says are not "gud". The trolling on this forum and in game is the biggest factor that drives people away from this game.

    At this point with your ridiculous suggestion the game is going to go so far downhill that eventually everything is going to get nerfed. So stop it.

    Make walking cost stamina too while you're at it.

    Serious tho, why waste your energy getting annoyed with jumping casters? Play one yourself and you'll find it helps keep your rotation tempo. Instead of getting angry just laugh at hour ridiculous they look and how funny it is when their dead body falls from the air.

    Horses get stuck on stuff, characters get stuck on stuff, PvE (where the problem you are trying to work around does not exist) would be horrendously affected.

    It's time to make "surviving fights in PvP" have a $ cost associated with it, and for that $ cost to be progressive so that the more "PvP fights you survive", the more $s it costs.

    While I wholeheartedly am against a PvP survival cost I just wanted to give you an idea of how ridiculous your original suggestion sounds.

    I think the responses in this thread say more about the lack of quality in your suggestion than do about the quality of the community.

    Take some time, come back with an actual suggestion, that is not a knee-jerk, blanket policy reaction, complaint post and you might get somewhere.

    I've never had an issue targeting someone jumping. It's a myth. Besides, after I get a kill on a jumper, I'll stand over thier body jumping to show how futile it is.
    If someone's jumping around and I hit them with a dizzy swing, it knocks them up in the air higher than a normal dizzy, and gives me enough time (half a second or so to recover from the higher drop) to usually land a second one.
    It's just annoying. I see it as a tactic to annoy you so much, you make mistakes. But in my experience, jumping actually makes the opponent more vulnerable.
    So, by all means, let them jump.

    What's even more rediculous is they think they are doing something.
    Those jumpers die just as quickly in my experience, giving up their sweet AP

    If I run like Toad on B button, I pay stamina, check.

    If I had to pay for jumping as well, I'd better jump as high as Luigi on a premium shroom.

    That petty Z axis movement far from being sufficient to pass the majority of obstacles a humble adventurer would stumble into - that is what I would call the fading memory of the shadow of a jump.

    No jumping cost without the adjustment of the size, shape and weight of a jump. B)

    It's really easy to spot the people abusing the mechanics I complain about by their posts....and it proves my complaints have merit.

    My proposal was to implement the cost in a way that if a player jumped less than a few times they would never notice the cost. Only players abusing the mechanic would notice.
