Time to make jumping cost something, preferably the more you jump, the higher the cost

It's time to make jumping have a cost associated with it, and for that cost to be progressive, so that the more you jump, the more it costs.

and to shorten the answer, no. It would be a pain for the other 90% of players that don't abuse jumping to avoid slow from casting or ensnares.

On day I sent a tell to a player who was abusing macro jumping like you mentioned as well as animation canceling. They replied telling me I should try to "git gud kid".
So i did some research, practiced alot in duels and learned alot about the classes I play. Turns out that was great advice, and now it doesn't seem to make a difference when I fight someone if they jump alot or not.
I would highly recommend "getting gud", really helped me out alot personally.5 -

✭✭✭I love the jumping cherries and bananas in Cyrodiil. They're easy to target with javelin, they conveniently ignore ground cover, and they often can't fight back while airborne. In a word... potato.
A jumping enemy is easy-peasy AP.
