I'm currently downloading the game, the size when i began my download was 22 gigabyte, now im down to 10.4 but my % is only at 17%, whats up with that? it ought to be at atleast 40 to 50% by now, am i downloading both NA and Europe versions or...?

TweakRPSoul ShrivenIf you look at my profile, and go to my comments, I recently posted on a thread talking about slow DL speeds. They all had varying times and %s on their down loader. One person said it ended at like 19% for them, others say it went from 12% and jumped to 80% when it was at low GB's left. Nothing seems to make sense, but you can read it for yourself. I have 9.3GBs left and at13%.-Tweakster0

pad11✭✭✭Also, I believe the % figure isn't just for the downloading, but for the install/patch/update/etc. part if the installation process too! so I think, like maybe 1/3 is the downloading and so on...something like that
And this is the SECOND time I've had to do this...for some reason, my entire install got wiped...not sure how...why...but craaaap! Edited by pad11 on April 6, 2014 9:30AM0 -
What you have missed is that the launcher will download a % then install it then download some more and install it, this increase the install time and you then don't have to wait for it to do the full 22gb install as it's already installed as it has been downloading.
PS: Don't change download servers half way through as the launcher will create a new folder for each zone, there is one folder for US and one for EU, if you change server half way through it will start download all the files you aready have, I have both folders, but only downloaded from the US server and simpley copied thefiles from one to the other re ran the launcher as EU and the game is ready to play as the files were aleady downloaded, I also have the PTS Folder in my install Directory.Edited by Dreddpool on April 6, 2014 9:38AM0 -

✭The downloader is showing a progres in INSTALLING the game, not downloading. Only about 25-30% of that is actual download, the rest is the install process and it's quite fast comparing to download time.
