From the PTS patch notes:

Mantle of Siroria: Fixed an issue where weapon swapping out of this Item Set’s 5-piece bonus was causing you to lose the Spell Damage bonus.

So a sorc running necro and siroria with a maelstrom weapon should rather frontbar necro or drop the monster set?

    Little narrow minded are we?

Not a pet sorc. Think I'll put an exclamation mark instead of a question mark about your narrow mind...

You could already front bar it right now with the same result on live. You didn't lose stacks, you just lost the spell damage for the time you were on the back bar. I front bar it on my magicka dds and my parses aren't lower than anyone else's. You generate stacks while on the back bar and regain the full spell damage when you go back to your front bar. It's 100% better than sorrow on front bar now that it's fixed. It was very equal before.

Your attitude seems very narrowminded and misinformed.

I like that it now gives more options for a MagDK. Front bar Siroria to get maximum uptime on BSW, as well as avoid the horrible RNG for a BSW inferno staff. It also makes the Elf Bane/Siroria combo a little more viable.

Let's say you actually have bsw and siroria inferno staves and want to run both, which is better and why?
