It's more that the preview they had seemed like the real "unfinished" version (I'm new, so I had no idea the trees and things were something I'd have to place. When I saw the preview, I actually thought those trees and things were stationary items that could not be moved or changed) and now part of our item count has to go to putting those trees and things back in...when they could have just been a part of the way the outside of the house looked? But now it's really bare. It just feels like our item count gets unnecessarily consumed by simply making a property actually look more...well...complete, when the former preview that included trees was a much nicer starting point.
The other thing that's troubling me is that I can on partially remember how the thing used to look, and I really don't know what half of the items that were outside are named so that I can go buy them

Usually you get what the preview shows and in every unfinished house used to be some plants though - until now. I'm very surprised that they changed it.

You mean like literally every other house in the game? Or did you think the trees that came with other houses didnt count as furnishing items.

I’m going to have a small nightstand in the middle of the main room. I’d like to add a single item on the nightstand, just can’t think of what.
