PvP new Shields

No, that is not the case lol. The max value of your shield will be 50k if you have enough magicka to scale it that high. The only difference between live and pts is that shields now cannot be stronger than a certain percentage of your health and they can take critical damage and benefit from your resistances. Otherwise they still scale off of max magicka and work the same way.1 -

Are shields actually getting buffed for pvp? I have this weird feeling.
Shields are getting buffed on certain builds. Shields will over perform in group play.
Solo mag sorc will need to respect for more resistance and hp. They already are underperforming in pvp if compared to certain Stam builds... They will struggle a little bit more next patch in solo pvp.0
