Error 326 Character Locked

    I understand they are people and they are swamped BUT we are customers and as paying customers we deserve to have quality customer service. This is one of the tests Zenimax needs to pass otherwise the game is going to fall flat within a year.

    I'm at 36+ hours of having my character locked. My name originally was Zlatan Son of God. Not really sure how that is considered offensive in a game where there are Gods, Daedric Princes, and the like. So far I have sent 4 or 5 emails, one in game bug report, and 2 requests for a phone call and have not heard one single word back from them. Not even a "We're sorry, we don't know whats going on but we are working on it." Or a "We are sending this to the group that deals with this" kind of thing. Obviously I want my character unlocked, but at the very least i would like some acknowledgment that they know I am locked out.

    I was just booted and asked to change name. Then it locked my character out anyway as well.

    Although the character name was "Yunalesca The War Wh ore". It is a bit disappointing there is no reason in the kick or lock. Shouldn't have to contact support regarding this.

    Hey guys, finally got an answer from the Customer support team here it is :
    We hereby like to inform you that we have initiated a rename of your character. Please be aware that names that violate the below are in violation to our Rules of Conduct.To ensure a respectful and secure atmosphere for all our players we cannot allow such character names.

    These can include, but are not limited to:
    Sexual Remarks
    Sexual Acts
    Historical Figures
    Mass Murderers
    Names of real people or fictive characters under a trademark protection
    Hateful, and excretory in nature

    Your suspension on your account was for 72 hours. Once the 72 hours are up, you will be able to log in again.

    So for everyone getting that ERROR CODE 326 : CHARACTER IS CURRENTLY LOCKED, you won't be able to log onto it for the next 72 hours for name violation.

    Got a call from them. Girl said that there weren't any holds on my account and that she was going to do her best to get this fixed soon. Didn't have an ETA or any idea why it was locked out but said that getting players back in game is their highest priority.

I am 34 years old, and did nothing to be punished, its not my fault that zenimax considers the animal fox in german offensive (but they have the animal in the game and in the german translation its the same as my name was. LOL. What an offensive game, isnt it ? ;) ).

    Agreed. And a 72 hour for a FIRST TIME OFFENSE. That does not make any sense.

    yeah, i do agree the 72 hours suspensions is quite harsh from them.. since you are forced to change your name after you get booted, which in itself is already annoying to lose my name (which I've been using for a while now..). Oh well if i can play, I won't say anything..

    Players who remember their old password can also change it from the account management page under the Security section. Click on Change Password, and follow the on-screen instructions.

    73 hours, still locked. And still not a single helpful solution from support. Pretty great way to spend 80 dollars, I guess I'll make sure everyone knows just how great it is :D

    I wouldn't have even minded time wasted farming racial styles, thousands sunk in inv space, 17k horse if only they communicated clearly about lock and it's duration. Would've simply made new char immediately instead of hanging in this limbo, falling behind in trait research and getting support tickets ignored or replied to with completely irrelevant information. Nothing ever came out of getting it escalated to special team couple days ago either.

    Same here, it has now been over 80 hours of this issue, and not one thing done about it. I'm wondering if it's just easier to ask for a refund, since it seems that is what they are hinting to.

    Going on almost 96 hours now. Ninety-six. 4 days. I absolutely need this character back, it has all my CE extras on it. I feel like I've been robbed.

    I'm having the same issue. I will hit my 72 hour mark in a few hours so we will see what happens. Not getting my hopes up though from what others have said on here. Multiple emails back and forth with support and still locked. So frustrating!

    Im starting to think they can't unlock it because of some kind of bug in the system.
