    I was actually thinking buffing the damage by 1% and making it so it affects your healing as well as damage.

    With the way mitigation is calculated, not really. Unless you mainly gank very high armor types, which kinda goes against the whole idea of ganking.
    From what I calculated last week, maul is better on any target above around 18k resistances. Not counting cp here. So that is the majority of players.
