Game Breaking Combat UI Bug

I've encountered this bug numerous times so far. What happens is you go into combat, initiate, and then... None of your buttons work. You see the clicks on the buttons themselves on the ability like it's being pressed, but it doesn't work. Reloading the UI tends to fix it, but it's not something you can do in combat without dying. Especially if you initiate and are squishy, as absolutely no abilities work. You can possibly block, but you can't even melee attack anything. Please fix Zenimax, you are our only hope.

I've had this happen a few times, usually opening any menu fixes it (ex: opening map then closing).

Paks_ESO✭✭I had this happen twice yesterday on one of my characters. I died both times and then relogged to fix the problem. I also noticed that when my character respawned after dying to this bug I couldn't run no matter what I tried. I sent in a bug report but wanted to add to this thread. I didn't know about the open window temp fix, so if it happens again before they fix this I'll try that.PC/NA0

I've found that pressing ESC to get the main menu, and then ESC again to return to combat fixes this issue. Still, I agree that it is a pain.0

makreth✭✭✭✭✭I'm getting this error quite a lot. Nightblade here. Either from stealth or during combat, don't know what triggers it. Pressing esc, alt or whatever brings up an interface change such as inv/map etc will fix it but it still very annoying...0 -
Cepeza✭✭✭I'm getting this issue at my NB quite often, too. ESC helps and /reloadui helps. Also the slow motion issue (not able to run, actually you can run, but everyhthing is in slowmo) decribed in reply 4. For that one you can dodge (on button press), then it will be gone.
