What about a new 2h weapon to give crit, like daggers does for dw?

Spears could be a crit weapon, however stuff like wrecking blow would have to be reworked as the animation isnt very spear friends.
Maybe a hybrid ranged/melee spear skill line would be better.

Said it before and will say it again, if pole-arms like Spears, Halberds or Javelins are to be introduced it needs to be more impactful than simply an addition to a current skill line. There are other weapons that could fit in better for a crit strike weapon for 2 handed. Sadly... ZOS has a tendency to make such weapons merely motifs for already existing weapon classes. Perhaps a 2 Handed Flail could fit the bill, or a 2 bladed sword, just not spears.

Simple: a Glave would work with all of the currently avaiable 2-h animations, and could function as a new weapon type for 2-h which give some crit juice to the weapon line

For the crit options then why not a Scythe?

1. Scythes are cool.
2. They look like they could shred people
3. Most animations would be good with a scythe (maybe uppercut would need a tweak)

the problem I'm visualizing is not really uppercut or any skill animation. you can honestly still do an uppercut even with just a long stick(or broom

). What about how its held? It would need all new light attacks and passive holding animations. working the other animations could work but it would just be easier to make a new skill line and sell it as a new feature.

There does need to be a crit modified 2H though. It might help them get closer to the same parses.
