TESO Elite OCD Food Bank. Originally a crafting mats storage sub-guild, now it is left with 9 inactive players and ME. It is my /g1 and my awesome storage bank of awesome. Also, this is literally the only answer I could give, since my other four guilds I've joined much more recently.

The first guild that I joined was a social guild. Unfortunately it was an AD guild and I was DC, and back then you couldn’t do anything with another faction. Really nice people though, and I got some great advice. My favorite guild that I am in currently is my own. I love each and every member in it! :-)

    I'm in 2 great guilds:

    Dragonborn Z
Finnish social guild with capabilities to do both PVE and PVP. Friendly community driven by the social aspect.

    Brave Cat Trade
Trading guild. The requirements are not hard to meet, the trader location is almost always great (Rawl'Kha). The community - very friendly, filled with chatter and joy. The guild doesn't feel like an elitist trading guild, but a social guild with PVP and PVE aspects with an emphasis on the social part.

The best part of both guilds is their Discord. I do not have to be logged in to have a chat with them.

I have PC accounts on both NA and EU servers.

In EU, Alith Legion is a great friendly group of folks. They run PVP (casual, non-vet and Tactical), all dungeons and trials including training runs. Lots of master crafters and experienced folk to bounce ideas off.

In NA I am in Stewards of Tamerial which is a trading guild with a guild lodge which has most ( Nearly all) crafting stations, and mundus stones. I am also in 'Barely Lethal' guild which run lots of activities to upskill toons (shard runs, boss farming, map clearances). Main guild is a small PVP guild "Nocturnal" which is an Oceanic guild.

    Alith Legion.

A large EU PC/MAC guild, friendly to newbies and veterans alike, with enough of the latter to do regular veteran content runs - dungeons, trials and raids, while still maintaining a non-elitist spirit, allowing all members to have fun at one's own pace. No pressure, no stress.

I felt welcome even as a total newbie. Any time anyone needs help or advice, there is someone willing to lend a hand.

Tried to join twice. Was rejected both times. Gave up.

Though our numbers aren’t nearly what they used to be, Harbringers of Death Xbox NA AD. Been playing with most of the core for 3+ years. Sucks the game has turned many off from playing but if we get a few people on nowadays there’s always going to be zergs getting bodied.

I'm going to have to agree with Harbringers of Death even though I was DC some of the best pvp players I ever ran into was from this guild. Every player I met had a wealth of knowledge and helped me be not as much trash as I use to be. Still love running into you guys in pvp and miss a lot of the players that left.

Priests of Hircine, werewolf guild is my favourite so far. It's a place where you are promoted to a higher rank by your activity in giving away free ww bites. So it's up to you only what rank will you have, if you actively give bites to strangers you can be even 3-rd after pack leader.
I think most guilds don't promote or don't care about it, so many people are socially idle and not interested. They are just repeating group dungeons and trials endlessly. The trading guilds for example promote when you sell and demote when you don't. My general rule for the trading guilds - don't make any friends there as you may be kicked from guild anytime without notice. Thus why I like the Priests of Hircine idea, you work for your progress yourself and that way stay active and work for the score of the whole guild (total counter of free bites given, and after each 1k there is a guild meetup :) ).
PC EU (PL): 14 characters. ESO player since 06.08.2015. Farkas finest quote: "Some people don't think I'm smart. Those people get my fist. But you, I like."

Spicy Economics on PC NA! Awesome trade guild, active community, fun contests, very active GMs, twitch streams, freaking amazing guild hall with every crafting station AND jewelry crafting station in the game, reasonable dues.

Nice ad. I don't find 20k weekly dues very friendly. Regardless of the trader spot.

It's just one set of guilds, the author's guilds. Many a good guild bought, gutted and left to fester. Others aren't whiter than white, but they tend to look after their members and don't continuously screw "others" over. Dummy guilds too. 99.9% of the time it's the author of this thread that does it too. So that screws other guilds over on a weekly basis.

And the name on PS4 is taken... by me. >.>

There was considerations of making it a guild on PS4 when console released, I opened it up - it had a rough start due to some very inconsiderate people so I decided to not expand that project - but left the guild intact to ensure the name could not be used by others.

20k a week for a Mournhold guild stall that is consistant is very reasonable. Plus its a raffle, you could get your 20k back in items or other prizes.

A bit hard to decide since I love all the guilds I'm in. But if I had to choose it would be the last one I joined and that I'm also currently an officer in. It's a smaller social guild but people there are just awesome and we really get along great, with a couple of dramas here and there to spice things up.

Seriously, I knew there were issues with the big guilds on PS but this thread is really worrying!!! This level of corruption shouldn’t be allowed to continue either :/

Only real issues with the big guilds are the bad systems and competition in the form of Leaders with no lives that their farm for 8 hours a day or buy gold with real money. This is a problem for strong guilds that make their gold through trading and donations as the leaders in question throw tons of gold at their guilds every week (which most people who need to make a living can't do anyway), and them call themselves "great leaders".
Any idiot can grind for hours and throw gold at a guild, good leaders work on the guild so it makes its own gold for bidding.
But tbh these problems aren't half as bad as they were. A certain someone who might want to remain nameless (the OP) used to buy 30-40m from a gold seller (that most of the big guilds kick on sight) so he could bid 10m with 3-4 guilds in Mournhold.
The only reason it stopped because the gold seller was warned (yes, warned, not perma banned), and so instead of trading with Chinese RMT's he now ganks people with a group in IC. Good news is he's restricted to only selling flowers. The other farmer he bought from (former GL of Infinity blade) was perma banned for selling gold (to the Op).
    Anyway rant over xD

    • Reaper Pact = social guild

I am saving a slot for a respectful & friendly trial's guild. Any recommendations are welcome.

I know if at least two mournhold guilds that ised to have no minimum sales or raffle ticket. One of them caved because the owner is an ***, but they only started requiring minimum 5k and it's just a few weeks ago. Before that, I believe they were there for 2 or 3 years. Same for the other one. I was there for 2 years and never gave them a cent besides my sales, and I sometimes went weeks without selling anything, never got even warned. Just recently I decided, on my own, to give them weekly donations because now I can afford.

Rawlkha guild I'm in, 10k raffle or 5k donations, sells probably 50% or more than mournhold guilds.

20k is too much to require weekly. That's unnecessary elitism, ruling small or new players out. Even back in my 2mi a month profit days I wouldn't stay in a guild that greedy. And ,20k is just 1% of that.
