Players botting dungeon bosses?

ginger_josh.1b16_ESO
I was out doing the Mages Guild quest at the Inner Sea Armature and stumbled upon a large group of players camping the dwarven sphere boss at the end of the dungeon. Seems like obvious botting activity to me as they were all stood in the same spot using basic attacks and abilities before, during and after each respawn.

thats , not botting lol people farm those bosses for the loots , hehe , and because the system is abit glichy about who gets the loot people try to land in few hits before boss dies quickly so they can get the loot aswell

Depends, the ones that never move and use the same attack on a very regualr interval are probably botting. You can tell is a person is camping or botting fairly easily. Based on my own observation and the OPs screen shot I would say afk farmers/botter more than not.

I will still look across the lands from my perch at Arrius, Nerf or no I will still be the Night. I may not be the hero Ebonheart Pact wanted but I will be the hero Ebonheart pact deserves.

They have not moved or changed behaviour in any way for the last 10 minutes. Seems sad for me to watch them that long i know but wanted to be sure of it whilst uploading a quick vid of the possible offenders.

I'v done this with friends in other MMOs, not botting. We would camp a boss or high lvl mob, then talk in vent and have fun. only using regular attacks so damage was equall for everyone to get a good shot for loot. we would do this for hours without moving. if the gear was good enough we would sit there for up to 12 hours on a good hunt. though others do bot these things too. if you want to know if they are botting. try talking to them in chat and see if you get an answer. Most likely if they ignore you and you mention reporting them someone will talk to prove the group isn't on afk/auto mode. if they don't talk, then report them.

I did try to get them talking bt had no response at all from them.

Heres a quick preview of them in action.

Daggerfall, Silumm, I saw suspected botters and I /say Hello botters.
I waited a few minutes and /say reporting botters.
I waited 10 more minutes and no one answered, so I reported.

Where do you think all that gold comes from for the goldspammers? Anyways, I do think ZOS needs to pursue the matter. Personally I'll just keep on playing the game I want to and not let this get under my skin too much.

I don't think this can totally upset the game economy just yet. Although I'll keep an eye out for such news.

I found this situation also, last night in Farengel's Delve. It took me almost 10 minutes to get the achievement for completing the Delve because there were about 30 players stacked on each other right where the boss spawned. It was dead before it even stood up. Maybe some sort of diminishing return for the loot rewards would fix this. I don't like DR any more that the other guy, but this is getting ridiculous.
