Zenimax and Amazon dropped the ball.

    How did your order status look yesterday/compared to now receiving it? Like mine has been I guess stuck in KY for about 15 hours...

    Just checked mine, it actually just left KY, but I am overly doubtful that it'll be here today. I also believe my post office is closed after lunch

    Mine shows a delivery date of April 8th, yet the status shows it has not yet been prepared to ship, and no charge has been made to my card. I'm going to assume that is not a positive sign.

    Day 2 for me now. Amazon still doesnt know anything and as far as Zenimax i have yet to get another email back from them. Like i said in my earlier statement yesterday. im more upset cause sunday is quickly coming up here and i have no idea what to do now. and like i feared im afraid this issue is gonna be unresolved by sunday. i don't want to risk canceling my Amazon CE Preorder.

    My status with Amazon is stuck in "preparing order for shipment" going on 20 hrs now. I don't see how it can get to me by Monday and at this point Tuesday doesn't look good. Why can't Zenimax let the pre-orders continue to play and retro-actively begin our sub on Sunday when we finally receive our orders? That seems only fair considering they would still get their money and we could play.

    I will ask on the open ticket if they can extend my prerelease access 3 days and add supporting documentation from Amazon.

    I ordered it from the elder scrolls website. I dont even have a clue if i will recieve a game or not :p the money is gone so im still wondering.. no email or anything about when i will get it

    This is very frustrating. Amazon gave me a $20 "promotional credit" (fantastic, at least I know now to use it on a pre-order of anything), but cannot or will not give me a straight answer about whether or not I will actually receive the game I ordered.

    At this point, I think Zenimax should get a confirmed list of affected purchasers from Amazon and offer those folks the opportunity to buy the Digital Imperial Edition and receive the Explorer Pack code as a way of saying "Zenimax and Amazon are sorry that their inability to provide you with valid information screwed you out of the opportunity to actually purchase the item you wanted."

    Personally, yeah, I want the physical CE stuff, otherwise I wouldn't have tried to pay for it - but wanting it won't make more copies of it magically exist. Digital items and codes, however, Zenimax can produce in unlimited quantity to make this right. I'll cough up the cash, but give me the benefits I was promised.

    If it isn't made right, I'll find another game to play - not because the game is bad, but because I cannot rely on Zenimax to offer appropriate customer support, and that's not a good place to invest my $15/month.

    Shows that my card will be charged on the 7th of this month for this product. Why it is waiting till the 7th, i have no idea. But atleast it shows that my card will be charged. That gives me hope that the game WILL be coming to me after all..i hope.. ZOS there should be no reason why you cant extend your maintenance, no reason at all. My card is showing it will be charged on the 7th, god knows if and when it will come. Sounds like ill have a week off of ESO before i can play again. I hope it doesnt reset everything i worked for on my imperial.

    Being charged for the CE and not having reliable info as to when it will arrive and being shut out of the game thru no fault of ours is not 'a bump in the road'! If you have your order and no interruption then this probably isn't any big deal.

    I ordered on the 21st of february, it seems that the customer support is telling me if my card is going to be charged on monday, the 7th, that that is when the game will ship to me.

    Me: Shows my card will be charged on the 7th, so you guys must have some more information about my order and a more exact date, id like some information please. Being left in the dark isnt fun on orders like this.

    Dipti:We will charge the card only after the order ships out, and this means the order will ship out on 7th.
    Me:So that basically means my order will absolutely ship out on the 7th, and i dont have to worry about NOT getting my order. Correct?

    So it seems i will be getting my product, just sometime next week. Which means ill be out playing ESO for atleast 2 days..Not cool at all. I don't see why a grace period can't be extended due to ZOS and Amazon not communicating effectively. This isn't our faults.

    Feb 20th here and a email from Amazon on March 24th saying I would have release date delivery. My order status still says preparing order. Going on 21 hrs.

    Just received update from Amazon stating I would have my order Monday by 8pm so that is some relief but not for the aggravation all this has caused. And the lack of response and preparedness by ZOS and Amazon.

    Small update. about an hour ago it updated my status as "Shipping Now" and they charged my account. yet to get a delivery date yet though.

    Update: I just got a call from ZOS (after a two day wait) and explained the situation. The sweet lady on the phone couldn't help me so I asked to speak with her supervisor. After explaining the situation to him, he promised to personally manage my case. I will be now be receiving an email from that lady where I can reply with a proof of purchase and chat conversations with Amazon where they state that it is their fault that I do not have a game. They will investigate further.

    This sounds somewhat promising, but I don't want to get my hopes up yet. At the very least I know that I am speaking to real people. The same phrase came up:

    "You ordered from a third party, so there is nothing we can do."

    Let me remind you, ZOS, that I ordered through this third party because there was nothing else available. You sent me to this third party from your official site. This creates a contract between you and me telling me that you endorse this seller and trust them to deliver your product with the same integrity that you would!

    I have called amazon three separate times now, they refuse to budge/hasten my shipping/offer me a 'make good' deal.

    I am not expected to get it, if it at all, until the 12th. so I miss a weeks worth of gametime due to no fault of my own...and there is nothing being done about it. those of you who got progress, what on earth do I say? :(

    As Phyrdrin stated this is ZOS responsibility and they need to take care of their customers. $99 is my initial cost but if i sub for a year that's an additional $180 but if I get mad and walk away they lose that money. So why are you not looking at the bad relations your creating with your CYA response ZOS? Do customers matter?

    And one other bone to pick Zenimax. We have been bombarded with pre-order ads encouraging us to order early so you knew how many physical copies you would need and yet Amazon wasn't given the proper amount of copies? That is your responsibility no matter how you try to blame third party suppliers. This is not the way to endear yourself to your customers.
