Seriously. You might as well place cast times on every skill. What's up with this obsession? Are Sorcs too OP without cast times?

✭✭✭✭✭Cast time skills are so clunky to use. That’s why nobody uses Crystal Blast, despite repeated nerfs to Frags. It’s why nobody uses Dark Exchange, despite Sorc having the worst sustain of any class (maybe tied with DK). It’s why Elemental Drain is always used over Siphon Spirit. It’s why Dark Flare, Snipe, and Uppercut are useless in any PVE DPS rotation. And most of all it is why the forums have been blowing up ever since a cast time was added to damage shields.
Can’t we just balance skills with an instant cast? Reduce magnitude or duration or whatever it takes to keep the fast paced feel of combat.11 -

Molag Kena, Valkyn Skoria, and a coalition of trial bosses also registered complaints about their inability to kill shield-using sorcs and mag players in sufficient numbers, so the solution is obviously to nerf Sorc and LA shields. Not to mention those poor healers made useless by damage shields (or so ZOS says).3 -

I'm sorry you've struggled against one of the easiest classes in the game to kill. I was wondering if you could offer suggestions up that didn't involve pushing players away from a game that is already hemmoraghing players. It's going to be very difficult to snipe spam ppl from stealth when theres no one left in cyrodiil.2
