Summerfall Event - Can we do it?

Don't forget that the event was decently timed with "Shield nerf" news, so I guess, ZOS partially wants to compensate negativity on the forums with an event. I doubt they would like to have a failed event and even more negativity on the forums, so, I think, the milestones should be probably very liberal. Yes, achieving 100% would be hard, but more possible, than you think, because ZOS won't lose much if people got one house (maybe they will get more buyers for their furniture packs, actually, so they even win here, especially if we count returning players and some additional Summerset sales), but they are going to lose in terms of PR if people think that event was futile task and would get negative feedback as a result.

So, I think, first two milestones are almost guaranteed, and we will have to do a decent job to get to the last milestone. But it should be quite possible

AFAIK, ZOS will start updating the percentage after the event starts (which is no earlier than Thursday), though we may complete it before event starts and it will count towards the goal

I think it can be done.
I'm still pretty new (Hi), so I don't have a good sense yet of how big the overall community is, but I think the sale and the ease of the achievement should be an incentive.
I mean, it was for me, and I was never planning on getting into Summerset. But I bought the upgrade this morning and I've already completed most of the Pathfinder achievement.

I have only one more place to find, and that's the Colosseum of the Old Ways.
I know you have to unlock the portal to Arteum to get there, and I know that's in the Keep of the Eleven Forces, but only after you progress a certain amount along the main Summerset quest line.

Edit: Oops, nevermind. I found info regarding the main quest; I'll just go from there.

The real answer is we aren’t sure. Zos has not provided us with the necessary information to be able to judge. As long as we are in the dark no one but Zos knows.

Of course the theory that this will be rigged is very likely since gaming companies such as Zos don’t want bad publicity from a failed event they chose to withhold information as to what the goal actually is.

I don't know, really.
On the one hand, it would be smart to allow us the reach this goal, this way it will look like the community is very active despite all recent backlash. Especially since they can strategically release those altmer furniture packs that were datamined a while ago.
On the other hand, ZOS might want to sell the house for 20k crowns instead of giving it away.
We dont see the exact numbers so it can go either way. Percentage meter is very easy to "fix".

You don't have to go very far at all in the main Summerset questline to get to Artaeum. Just talk to either Razum-Dar or the frantic high elf, both of whom are just outside Shimmerene. You'll have to do some running around, but it really takes maybe twenty minutes tops to get to Artaeum.

I got the achievement on Xbox NA last night and plan to do EU tonight, and I noticed quite a few people in Summerset for this. I have to say that it's really nice to see the community working together towards a shared goal. I also previewed the villa last night and it is beautiful. I'm excited and I think we can win this thing.

You don't have to do the questline at all if you can find someone there to teleport to.

I just looked through my guild lists until I saw someone in Artaeum and right-clicked their name and picked 'travel to player'. I also saw lots of people in Alinor offering teleports there.

Also a lot of people don't play much or at all during the week. I've barely been online the last few days, mostly just picking up hireling mail and logging out again.

I was also putting off doing the achievement until the event officially started just in case they somehow missed people in between their first count and the official start. Which nearly proved to be a bad plan, because I was going to be away from Friday - Monday, but now that's moved to next weekend. I'll probably do it on both servers when I get home tonight.

Funny thing is I don't even want any of the rewards myself, but I like the idea of a community event and everyone working together to get it done. The part I'm looking forward to most is hanging around Alinor answering questions and teleporting people to Artaeum.

I dont have pathfinder achievement because I am short of the Colosseum of the Old Ways and not sure how to get to the island as it doesn't show up anywhere

I abandoned the psijic order quest as being too difficult to finish when my character was a low level

Now i am not sure how to revive it so activate the island through the portal !

i dont think zos really made up a number and is following the numbers of new achievements. actually i think its a hoax, and zos is just keeping its exciting till the last day of the event to make remaining people buy summerset. then we either gonna get the house, or we wont.

You can get there without completing the quest if you teleport to another player.

I got there a few days ago by looking through my guild lists for someone who happened to be there and teleporting to them, but you could also ask someone to form a party with you then travel there so you can follow.

To get to Artaeum, you can pick up the quest at the entrance to Shimmerene, if you haven't gotten that part. After that, there are a few stages that get you to fighting an earl, and then you're sent to where you go through the portal to ARtaeum...or, you can have someone port you to artaeum. It shouldn't be too hard to get someone to port you to Artaeum, though, if you ask.

I'm pretty disappointed by only being at 35% with how many people are running around getting it done. I personally have done it 3 more times between both of my accounts. I expected the % to be higher just based off of how many people were actively working on it already. All I know is if we don't get to 100% I won't put in as much work for future events like this.

I've waited for the event to begin, to avoid ending in a limbo between the precounted achievements and the event ones. Maybe others did the same.
Plus, I'd wait till Saturday to see how we fare.

Even though it's only at 35%, I still think we can do it!
I was a bit dissapointed to see it only go up a little since I saw so many doing it on both servers. I think the weekend will give us a bigger jump though!

With a mystery target that only they know what that % actually means, we'd better or this will be a PR disaster for them. Can you imagine all the "rigged!" cries and rage if we just miss it? lol

Are they separating console and PC %?
If PC gets 100% do they still get the rewards? Because im on PS4 and I never heard about this event until google chrome on my phone advertised it to me. And when I went to summerset lastnight to finish the achievement, it wasnt that populated.
