3rd bar all the way. We have bar space issues in particular pet sorc healers. This creates a big issue for them.

Also, it was something different about the class, something unique and nope they crapped on it. Same with yolo not running Impen etc.

Now we all the same, dull, blame sameness.

I wanted a spammable 2 years ago when they took webs (MagDW niche build) but honnestly who needs this change for PvE, 99% of it is way too easy anyway but nope, sorcs rekted for PvP so they can spam in a rotation.just weird.

If the wanted to help OL have use in PvE they should have upped ultimate level again

This is giant *** vs a turd sandwich debate all over again. A sparkly light/heavy attack or an entire class design. Hmmmmmmmmm which one would I prefer. Doesn't even need a vote. If you can't see the obvious choice you are brainDEAD.

I’m honestly surprised more people aren’t mad about the 50% damage nerf to LA, but then again a 60% buff to heavy is something to consider.

Overload:
This ability and its morphs no longer grant a third ability bar when toggled on.
Weapon abilities can now be used while in Overload mode, and are no longer hidden.
You can no longer generate any Ultimate while this ability is toggled on.
You can now toggle this on when you have 25 Ultimate or more, previously 75 Ultimate.
Light and Heavy Attacks are now off the global cooldown and can be woven with other abilities.
Decreased the damage of the Light Attack by approximately 50%.
Increased the damage of the Heavy Attack by approximately 60%.
Power Overload (morph): This morph now specifies the bonus range and radius for the Light and Heavy Attacks.

Instead of trying to put OL on the Weapons bar, they should allow Weapon Skills on the OL bar. A simple Bound Weapon animation from skyrim combined with the Weapon Skill´s animation would already suffice to balance things out, as no one would spam a skill with an animation equal to a 3 second cast time.

However it would open fun playstyles and strengthen the class identity, particularly of the StamSorcs.

What would I give to use a conjured Critcharge as a Dual Wield StamSorc! Even it it means that I have to wait for 3 seconds before it even starts (and a half second to switch to physical weapons). What would I give to pull mobs with a conjured Bow and some OL light attacks before using my real weapon bars!

Again, no real DPS char would be harmed, as the animation would prevent any real DPS... but it would simply "feel" right, as this is a very classical Elder Scrolls Sorcerer playstyle since at least TES: Morrowind which is totally not represented in ESO.

This is the inherent problem with the change, since it does not compensate players who made builds that used the third bar. Overload's heavy attack definitely needed a buff, but that should not have required the loss of the third bar.

I have a feeling that ppl saying its weaving is nice haven't been on the pts it's literally the same slow animation to activate it and attack with it and it's damage is pretty weak while still having the same counters of live. For pve I would honestly only see it being used for heavy aoe fights and even then Destro ult would win out imo while lighting heavy attacking. The new overload hits like a wet noodle for LAs so it's pointless to use as an ult when u have way better options

Does the change to overload in PTS mean that OL light attacks will be affected by infused trait weapons? Or have they always been affected by weapon traits?

It really doesn't matter. We are the slowly boiled FROG sitting in the pot, with many unaware that over the last 2 years we have been gutted of class defining skills. There were tons of ways to keep Sorc abilities in check and tweaked to keep the class competitive and not OP.

WE the players did not design the class OP abilities and stacking of shields!!! ZOS YOU DID!! It should have been fairly trivial to adjust Crittable shields loooong ago, or prevent stacking, looong ago. Instead of this ALL at once BS, and some have the nerve to act surprised at the angst you receive. BULL IN A CHINA SHOP so called Balancing.
