Most people I know, from own guild, other guilds, friends outside guilds and even people found in Group Tool, just don't do the DLC pledge OR they just do it in Normal mode.
I do once on vet for helm. I dont have time for the effort for one key. Its honeslty way easier to do non dlc on hm get two keys switch to a second toon run them again. I am actually lvling a 3rd toon so i can just run 3 .. yes i am addicted to two keys for some reason.
I play solo, so yes. Competent groups are the 1% when you use group finder
Bosmer Stamina NB
Altmer Magicka TEMP
Dunmer DK both stam/mag (depends what I feel like)
Altmer Magicka NB
Breton Magicka Sorc
Redguard Stam Sorc
Max CP
Haven't managed to get group for pretty much anything at all lately so I just PUG them all on normal. When I actually bother with pledges. Got stacks of keys lying around already.
I suspect that is one reason they put the shoulder style pages in undaunted chests; to force people to start using/farming those keys.
Only vWGT, the rest on normal (or not at all, I'm not exactly short on keys). The others are not worth the effort. (I had a bad experience with ICP.) Esp. because for pledges, there's no difference between normal and non-hm vet but the spike in difficulty is enormous.
The old DLC are a cake walk on vet, even PUGging it. But I've found the latest DLC are tough on vet with a PUG, many times the group fails. When it fails twice, I switch to normal mode as I know I can through it no matter how bad the group is. Preferably I'll do it with friends or guildies, or sometimes not at all, I have a rather large number of keys and all the useful monster sets stashed in the bank.
