Why couldn't I buy the nice Island in southern Grathwood called Grand Topal Hideaway?
I even played alpha tests with the same account and still never had the ability to buy that place. What was required? Why not I?

E7216✭✭You could ask the support to get one, they will transfer the crowns from your account then. I know people who got their crown exclusive houses that way.
Disatvantage of this way is that the house will come delivered empty, without lights, trees and so on. But if you only want the house, try that.2 -

✭✭I was hoping that it will never be released again and thus it will retain it's exclusivity.
Though given that Linchal Grand Manor was released again recently, this may not be possible.

✭A guildmate of mine just finalized his purchase of the Grand Topal Hideaway last week. It took several weeks of back and forth emails to customer support, but he was able to get it.
It came completely unfurnished, but the trees/rocks, etc that come in the unfurnished preview were in-game mailed to him via support. I think he said it 14,000 crowns.Feric51

✭✭✭Its limited time housing they make available without notice for a weekend in the spring like all the other crown houses that are currently unavailable. You have to get them for the 3 or 4 days during the year they are available. Their genius marketing department convinced ZOS they would make billions by have houses as very limited time and then charging stupidly high prices for them. People would buy them of course because if you dont buy it now you may never get it. So they will fork over a good chunk for a few pixels and ZOS will make millions....billions....trillions.... more than Apple and Google combined!

Rebirthment✭✭✭✭Limited time house. However with Murkmire being released soon and the house being argonian styled, im pretty sure it will be re released some time after the update goes live.
PS: Even though i have the island, i would love for ZOS to release it more often to those who weren't on during the small time frame.0
