It exists; I have a powered one in the bank from before transmutation.I have an oddball piece from another dungeon I know I have done 500 times without getting it; I run it a couple of times a day.

I wish that ESO made the loot tables available. Since they did "Smart Loot" there are in fact some pieces missing from some sets, but AFAIK no way to find what. Smart Loot was needed to reduce the pain of RNG at the time, but with the change to make 2H/staffs count for 2 pieces, things like magicka set greatswords and stamina set resto staffs are more viable.

The game doesn't know what a good weapon is. You just get some lucky streaks.

I dont see how a master chest would affect boss drop rates

I got mine a couple of weeks ago after about 30 runs. Took over 100 runs to get the BSW necklace though! That’s RNG for you.

I got Defending long ago, and hung onto it until Transmutation happened.

In the brief period between transmutation mutation happening and staves filling two item slots, I had a double-proc-set build with BSW and Mechanical Acuity.
