BSW flame staff

Does this item even exist. Ive ran the dungeon over 70 times ive gotten every piece of armor and weapons except for the Burning Spellweave flame staff. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I got the frost staff today after 126 runs, I kept count. Best way to farm it is with 3 other friends on vet and do the chest farm. Most of the time there is 2 chest that's 8 chances per run to get a wep.

We also notice if you run into a master chest then kill the last boss (has not been proven) but got a good wep drop from the boss when this happens.

And yes I wanted the frost staff for pvp build. Good look and keep at it trust me it will drop.

It exists, came across a sharpened inferno BSW staff a few times when farming CoA when BSW was really really good, on PC EU, and that was farming solo, more times it happened in a group.

A friend and I ran City of Ash I - mixed Normal and Veteran - a solid ~20-30 times a day, for a week, before she finally got the staff on the final boss on Normal. Mind you, 95% of the time we didn't actually do the dungeon; rather, we found the chests before the locked gate (sometimes it was both chests, sometimes it was only one) by sneaking through on Nightblades before resetting the dungeon. Sometimes we had a 3rd or 4th person with us, but most of the time it was just us. I also know she ran it by herself another ~20 times a day, in addition to what I helped with. Ironically, I got the staff as a random drop a month beforehand on my third or fourth attempt at getting it, and about a week after she got the staff for herself she got a second staff while helping a friend farm for Sunderflame. It is truly RNG.

I have a Winterborn Inferno Staff that I used in PvP for a short time recently.

Try using flame clench with a frost glyph ... Winterborn proc at the end of the knockback ...

Damn. My RNG must suck. I even put points in to unlock the treasure hunter passive hoping that would help.

I've found 5 in total.
3 at the time we had no transmutation, a Training I deconned, a Defending gifted to another player, got a Sharpened with an alt level 45 (!) and I kept that stuff, never deconned, it was too much of a royal troll drop. Also, I've never ran that place with alts again while I was farming for the staff.
Later on I found other 2 inferno I transmuted, I still have and use.

Though I've farmed that place insanely, much more than 70 times rest assured.

I've only seen one. My wife got one a few months ago, was level 14

I've done that dungeon so many times on multiple characters and never got one.

And based on my RNG experience (1 outta 6 = 1 outta 40...)

It was always a rare drop but it is now roughly 10000000x easier to get the weapon of your choice due to the transmute system.

Back in the heyday of this set (it's still good), people were farming for weapon AND trait.

I've gotten 3...kept 2 and gave my last one to a guildie who was actually farming it...have run CoA I & II...chest runs included...at least 200 times...

Its a bit like the spell power cure restoration staff, obvious weapon for set so drop rate is 0.0000001%

I have one.

I needed to run CoA 80 times just to get a full set of BSW body gear (back before transmutation).

I ended up getting an infused BSW staff during one of those runs that I very nearly deconned since infused was a junk trait back then (but I kept it in case we ever got transmutation). Turns out we got transmutation and infused became BiS.

The best way to get dungeon/trial weapons is to offer to buy them. I always offer 100k for weapons.

It exists. I've got 2 infused staves sitting in my bank. I've also given away a third. And I'm not entirely sure if my bro is still using 1 as a generic staff.

try to plan your build around crafted or BoE sets, so you can craft or buy from guild traiders any weapon you want.
Also you may want to run this dungeon with a group to increase your chance like 4x. Group search as tank, ofcuz.

Both.

Took me a good 200 runs to finally get one. Just make sure to hit both chests (I ran on vet since chests are better).

I got two in one run. One from a chest and another from the boss.
Had far more issues getting a BSW neck to drop. Ran the dungeon 3 days straight, with guildies, and never dropped. But, BSW inferno staff dropped 6 more times, so was able to give away to guildies.
My neck finally dropped after what felt like 300 runs.

RNG is just RNG. For some it's weapons. For me personally, it's always jewelry that seems rare. No matter the set, seems the jewelry is always the last pieces that I can get.

The issue with RNG is, if you're looking for it your odds of getting it are horrible. If you don't want it you'll get it lol.

I have ran this dungeon so many times and solo'd it a dozen times, I can dream it, and in total I have gotten 2 firestaves, 1 lighting and two restro. But you know what's way more harder to get?? The damn necklace. I have been trying to farm that stupid thing for a decade and I regret that I didn't bought it from the golden vendor...

Lol, 70 times.

I've seen 3 drop across 15 characters, on two accounts, in over four years.

There's a reason people usually go with armor and jewelry.

The major bosses (end boss and I think the one at the top of the hill that does the fire doughnut) can drop weapons. You can also get them from chests.

It's further aggravated by the fact that certain named weapons also drop, reducing the likelihood of getting the one you're after.
