Just keep in mind that during the event, everyone gets double rewards for killing you (and you get double rewards for killing them.) So if you are hoping for peaceful interactions with PVPers, now is not the time.1 -

I only ever do what I consider fun. It may mean missing out on some shinies, but you really have to ask yourself - Are those shinies really worth spending your free-time not having fun?

Players often need an Alliance skill, gear or mats for their build and as such have to go to Cyrodiil to obtain.
Same as PVP players sometimes have to do PVE content to get their gear. But then you don't get ganked or facerolled or have your valuable mats taken from you in PVE
True - but stuff like skins and achievements that add nothing to your characters stats or skills are most definitely something you don't have to do - its 100% a choice.Minalan owes me a beer.

I used to grind key fragments in the sewers for those sweet sweet Willpower rings and it was a blast despite being mindless grind. There was always that patrolling boss to look out for and if you heard it getting triggered in the distance you knew you weren't alone anymore. In a way it was like a playing a horror game. Power Overload now does physical damage and grants you the power of a tornado: You throw a brick at the target with a light attack, and you hammer your head into that brick with every heavy attack. We have decreased its Ultimate cost, but increased the chance that you get stuck in the animation.2 -

As a PvP player, I've also had this happen multiple times. Eg, was in a delve once and intentionally ignored the opposite faction player who I assumed was questing, while I waited for a boss to spawn. Same. Exact same happened to me. I don’t even pause anymore. Just go right at them.There's nothing cool about facerolling someone who is clearly and obviously questing in Cyrodiil especially during events.
There are actually a good number of players that respect this but unfortunately there are always going to be ones who get a kick out of beating defenceless people.
Most good pvp'ers don't do this even in pvp proper.
I’m beyond all that nonsense. I was with one of the better MagDk’s in the game who rails on and on about toxic players and why one shouldn’t be toxic etc etc. Same guy made a point of chasing down and killing a level 10. He was like: “I’m HELPING him take the training wheels off.”
PvP is player vs player combat. If you arent good enough for that, get better or don’t do it.

Because the Imperial City was designed from the ground up to be a mixed PVP/PVE zone, and the achievements, skyshards, quests, and Tel Var stones were designed to be acquired with the threat of PVP. Much like Cyrodiil.
I'd be fine with a PVE only version in theory but only if all the rewards intended to be gained with the threat of PVP are removed.

✭✭✭✭Ok OP, I won't echo the "it's a PVP zone" since you've heard that enough.
1) The skin looks nasty. Especially on vampire. Sure you want it?
2) You can buy it. It's not even a limited time thing, it drops all the time. Prices will drop by the end of the event. Go farm gold if you don't like the risk of PvP.
3) Still want to earn it? Wait until the last couple of days when the extra campaigns will be ghost towns. Go in with a bunch of friends who all want to farm.
4) If you aren't a nightblade, invis speed pots are your friend to get through the sewers. Same for gate skyshards.
5) Be aware of the status of NPCs. If the mobs are all dead, keep your eyes peeled for what killed them.
Still don't get a drop? But you made lots of TV which you banked often? Use it to buy alchemy satchels. Get back at those PvP'ers by selling them the alchemy mats they desperately need but cost too much.yes there is, flash block a few times. if you do that and they kill you there just a jerk
That's often use to signal you want to duel, especially if jumping at the same time, so I don't recommend it.

Yes, sneak works on players. Now, players also have a detect radius, the ability to use detect pots, skills that grant detection, or damage someone who is in stealth.
One of the more hilarious deaths I had in IC was when I was stealthing in a doorway to avoid a small farming group. Someone from a different alliance came through the door, in stealth, in exactly the same position as I was. We just stared at each other for a bit, then frantically tried to kill each other. Why there is no option for these people is mind boggling.

✭The other day I was trying to finish the Cyrodiil delve achievement. I was waaay up north, far from my AD comfort zone. I don’t PvP much and most of the time I was praying not to run into anyone. Lo and behold, I entered a delve and ran to the first boss only to find it already engaged in combat with an enemy player. I threw a couple light attacks at the boss, the EP dude saw me and then he just ran off back to the overworld! He let me live!!! And I finished the achievement.
It does happen sometimes, just try to show that you’re not hostile by showing yourself and running the other way. Or get some invisibility pots.
And thanks to the blue who spared my yellow self at that delve spider boss PS4 NA

Seriously, it doesnt matter that they are gankers or campers. That's intended gameplay in PVP and no one is going to get banned or punished for it.3
