By having 1 Blackrose weapon grant 129 weapon damage you're going to have DW and SnB acquire 258 weapon damage by slotting 1 blackrose + 1 of the next ability altering weapon that we'll be getting next year.

Maybe, but we should also know from past weapons they started requiring you need both 1h weapons or 1h+shield in order to get the full bonuses?

✭With the new blackrose weapons and those 1 piece boni, I hope also the weapons from AS, MSA and DSA will get a normal 1 piece bonus back.
Slotting two different arena weapons to get max stats is unfair in the sense, that you can not do that with 2 handed weapons. So if the ability alteration would be bad, you still could go for the stats with one handed weapons, but as soon as you slot a 2h weapon, you automatically can not get another 1 piece bonus and get the second piece bonus, which may be rather useless.
I do not see any problems to use different arena weapons to maximize stats, I personally just do not like the discrepance between one handed weapons and 2 handed weapons, since you can use two different one hand weapons to gain stats, meanwhile using a 2 handed weapon automatically prohibits to acquire a second stat bonus and provides maybe a not wanted second piece bonus.1 -
