What are your the best and worst titles in the game for you?

Best: Flawless conqueror (not too hard to get any longer on my primary DD's, but getting their was an experience in itself getting my first pass in VMA), Grand Champion, Conquering Hero, Paragon (not hard to get with enough games, but titles sound cool), Tamriel Hero

Worst: Guild achievement titles, but being honest most titles have a story / adventure behind them so no one title I really hate

The OP asks about titles from an aesthetic standpoint, and over half the posts are about the prestige of the title.

Anyway, anything along the line of "Someone's Lackey" is terrible.

Off the top of my head, these bad titles include:

Divayth Fyr's Coadjutor (literally "Divayth Fyr's Assistant" ... :puke:)
Hircine's Champion (the vet HM title is worse than the vet title, lol)
Boethiah's Scythe
Assistant Alienist
Champion of Vivec

Best title: Librarian because it really suits my tank as not including motifs, I’m 23 books away from having read every single bit of literature in game

Worst title: Emperor because it sits there unobtained as I don’t have the patience to do that much pvp in order to get it

My fave title is none at all. They all seem too pretentious for my elf. That said, she would happily wear the title 'Healer' if it was available. In fact my tank would wear one that simply said 'Tank' as well. All the fancy titles are fine for dps but my healer and tank would actually rather simply note their role so others knew what to expect from them.

Title for bragging rights has to go to "Grand Overlord" .

Master Angler - gtfo with that stupid thing. Why would anyone want a title that essentially describes them as having put lots of hours into standing around in water? The mind boggles

My favorites are the ones that require some work and make you feel some personal accomplishment afterward: Stormproof, Flawless Conquerer, Master Angler, Grand Overlord

I also enjoy the ones that just plain sound cool: Paragon, Alpha Predator, Assistant Alienist, Boethiah’s Scythe

I also love the ironic ones like “Librarian” on my PvP character slaughtering people.

Best: Star-Made Knight

I just wish that it was seasonal and this year offered a new title.

There's something appealing about titles that can't be acquired after a certain point.

I also think skill based titles are needed - Things like 'Wrecking Ball' from WoW for 20 killing blows without dying.

Only one of my Chars (Mageblade) sports a title and that is only because I fell in love with the limited edition Jester Festival monkey.

The Jester-crowned Monkey - in its purple and gold attire - has become the mischeivous and loyal companion to my M-KB.

My NB dresses to coordinate with her Monkey. She wears the Gold Jester Crown (lined in purple) and the rest of her attire is purple, with gold accessories - including gold Trinimac wings.

Together, they make a playful and jolly couple, so "Royal Jester" seems to be a fitting title.

You just need to learn all 9 jewelry traits once for the title. So, you could do all traits on necklaces and none on rings, and get the title. I did them in parallel, completing each trait on both necklaces and rings before moving to the next trait. I finished the 9th trait on necklaces and received the title before I started the 9th trait on rings.

I generally consider "The Merciless" or "Bloodletter" to be tryhard-adjacent titles.
"Former Emperor" is a scrub title.
"Volunteer" is a joke title that really isn't funny anymore.

...I like "Librarian" and "Clan Mother/Father" the best, though I don't use the latter anymore, as I'm no longer actively running a guild.

Hand of the Whitestrake
Wrath of the Whitestrake
Pelinavant the Scourge
Pelinaline the Bloody
Pelinerrif Insurgent

Especially *Wrath of the Whitestrake*, in my native language it would read *Reaper of the Whitestrake*.

Chaos Champion is one of my favorites and really the majority of BGs titles are pretty cool. Also Voice of Reason and The Flawless Conquerer are cool. I’m still deciding whether I like Bringer of Light aesthetically or if I’d just use it for prestige.

I’m not a huge fan of any Elder Scrolls lore-specific ones like Plague of Peryite or Dromathra Destroyer. Unfortunately, most of the vet hm dungeon titles fit into this category.
Also, I think Tick-Tock Tormenter is a little silly. But that might just be my distaste for the robot/automaton aesthetic in a fantasy genre.

Stormproof, only because as someone who predominantly plays a tank, i had given up on ever beating VMA until I finally beat VMA.

Though it is a constant reminder of that VMA maul i have sitting in my bank.

I got it on my toons but I bought all the manors with in game currency, is not a crown exclusive title.
I don't use Count often, people tends to ignore the o on the title

The best title is clearly Volunteer. That title requires so much dedication and skill to obtain, it's ridiculous. Every time I go into Cyrodiil or BGs and see all those players with Grand Overlord, Grand Champion, etc I think to myself: "They wish they had Volunteer like me." Only the best of the best can get this title, and by wearing it you display your PvP prowess to all your enemies.
