Now, that's not an effective solution as long as ZOS isn't prepared to mandate role requirements, but its probably the best we'll get for a while.

Solid reasoning.
I don't really want them to mandate role requirements and start making things feel stricter than they need to be.
Fake tank queues in, group finds out, kick him. It's that simple. Reque and have a new tank within minutes.

If your going to fake anything, fake heal. Almost the same queue as tanks, but less harmful to your group.

But that's the problem, this doesn't fix anything, it just makes it stricter and bottlenecking every role, except healer. Leave it to the people to kick who they need to kick whether they are a dps being horrible at being a tank or a tank being a horrible tank, both should be kicked because they arent fulfilling the groups needs.
The idea that this is justified because it takes away an excuse for an individual means nothing. If someone is bringing down the whole group, kick them if you want.

So, the problem is fake tanks are queing into dungeons at a noticeable frequency, and the desired solution is for that to no longer be possible.
The problem is, it can be a little difficult to totally eliminate all fake tanks from the dungeon que.
Thers the question of how do we properly define a tank. Can they only be doing so much damage. What if someone is just really bad at tanking, and is honestly trying their best, but is just not getting the job done and not fulfilling their role. Does that fall into the category of fake tank, too?
So I think the way we have it now is more or less fine, in my opinion the problem is easily solved by kicking the fake tank and simply getting a new one.

So you won't get kicked by all the kids who do it just because fake. Neither will your healer complain.
Try to kick a noob below 160 while farming, all you hear is *we can do it*. Where goes *we can do it* when a faketank steps in?
"If you are quitting, can I have your stuff??"

That meens bye bye to kick poll, no more ties 2 vs 2 and first kick first serve?
Can't wait to see the kick wars.

I hate it when people fake queue as a tank because it makes me (a real tank) have to wait longer in the queue. Sometimes I have to wait a whole minute now!
Yes, just yes.
3 dps and one tank is by far more preffered than 3 dps one healer. It’s not even close.

I'm selfish and think that others should have to play utility charaters while I claim to be the hero they need while playing ezmode dps
BeefyMrTips wrote: »Where should we begin..
1. People were upset at those who were queueing as tanks when they were DPS, making dungeons horrible.
2. The fix was to only give one choice in role now..
3. Have you all lost your minds?
Nothing is fixed, but may be more broken now. The people who were queueing up as tanks before at least also queued up as DPS..
Now there is 0% chance of them getting pulled as a DPS now.. lmao which might have potentially saved an unsuspecting group before
