This game looks insanely good on PC running ultra mode!

I don't want to start a flame war so let's just say I previously played ESO. And then I moved to PC and put the game on ultra mode, And using the same 4k tv totally blew my mind. I had no idea that this game looked so good. it's like I played 2 different games. And I had no idea that a tv could look so good. It looks every bit as good as a PC monitor.

I agree with you.
I play on PC but have always played on 4k TV, on my couch and with an Xbox controller!
I realise that I leave myself open to a torrent from the purists here but its a really fun way to play

This game has great graphics.

You see people saying this game does not have good graphics, that is not true. Visually this is a great for a MMO

running on ultra settings opens the door for alot more lagg.
i allways run medium or high settings and it seems to work allright. but soon as i run ultra it really shows problems
(speaking in pvp)
in PVE does not seem as bad.

lol why would someone say the graphics in this game r bad. I think there are games that came out in the early 2000s that still have good graphics

Yep. A whole new game if you have the PC power to run max or close to max graphics. I went from medium 20 to 30 FPS old PC to ultra and a steady 60 FPS on the new PC. Well steady 60FPS execpt for the drops in large PVP battles.

My PC is not even 6 months old and I get 45/60fps on ultra and at least 95% of the time it's a solid 60fps. The only area where I see a drop in fps is dolmen zergs and then the fps drops to the 30's. I can not comment about pvp because I don't pvp.

think texture detail on somethings could be enhanced,but I rarely am able to play on ultra anyway.Far too laggy.

Normally I dont care about graphics but last night I hopped on my xbox to play some monster hunter after playing ESO all day and my eyes about melted.

We're seriously spoiled on PC.

Even on Ultra, I'm running into visual glitches in Craglorn again since Wolfhunter. But I'm starting to wonder if that's because Craglorn 2.0 was stacked on top of Craglorn 1.0 and I'm seeing random split-second renders of 1.0 layers. It's the only zone I have any issues with.

But after playing the game on an old laptop for a week, anything is better than imitation TES3 graphics.

Yes we are. I use to play on Xbox. When I streamed it to my computer I was shocked to see how much more beautiful ESO was on the One X. Now I play on PC because of some mods I can't live without. Actually one, the mini map. Now I play on a bigger monitor and hooked up the Xbox One X to it. Still great, but the PC is still nicer.

I think more of the problem is not the console but the TV its self. So console games are made TV output. Just like when I put ESO from my laptop to TV it just looked like Xbox One.

Usually I rather like great game play over graphics and I prefer my Xbox BUT now seeing ESO playing on medium to high settings, at 30ish to 40ish FPS it's just more enjoyable to play on my laptop now. Going back to Xbox with no mods, I just can't do it.

People have been asking for an optional texture pack for a looooong time. Interestingly, it only becomes a real issue when using a large screen as there is so much more visible detail.

If you reallllly want to appreciate the graphics, use an OLED. My LG has high end gaming performance with eye-popping visuals.

I have started getting those same visual tears. Sucks as I thought that something had gone bad in my cooling system. Other than that, which I expect to be fixed soon, the game is beautiful. I love looking at in on my 3440 X 1440 ultra widescreen monitor with everything set to ultra. My My GTX 1070 TI powers it perfectly. Sometimes I just stop what I am doing and pan around looking at the scenery.

There are some people out there (frequently overlapping with the "I've got two 1080Ti's in SLI!" crowd

) who think that any game that doesn't use every latest DX12 bell & whistle while looking beyond photorealistic (at 144 fps on the g-sync/HDR/etc monitor!)..... looks like "garbage" and/or "like a PS1 game".

Me, I'm happy with my 1080p @ 30-60fps, using my several-year-old $175 R9-270X. Game looks great.

I feel like I'm the only gamer in the world that does not care about graphics, like at all. I use to play on PC switched to xb and yes its noticeable slightly but my eyes are bad and I use to play pong.

It doesn't work for me for some reason, maybe because i use the eso Steam version..? ReShade only works if i start directly the eso64.exe, but as a Steam user i have to start it from Steam
