it depends on the mood. Right now, and for the past few months, my main crafter is riding his psijic camel...maybe 8 months ago, for a while, he was riding the undead one. And, honestly, I own all 3 of the more normal ones: the one from thieves' guild collector's edition, the zeht's cloud one, and the black one. I might have more, but am not sure right now.
I got the black camel from a crate, I think. It's easily the tallest of my mounts so my Bosmer rides him. Too cute.

"Instead of taking the best of the dolmens (predictable rotation), the best of the geysers (scalability based on number of players), and the best of the dragons (map location and health indicators) and adding them together to make a fun and dynamic world event scenario, they gave us....... harrowstorms." https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/comment/6850523/#Comment_6850523
Rngeezus gave me the electric camel out of the box - and i hated it.
Started to use it on my Argonian, and never changed it since then - it´s awesome
Riding this beast is fairly ok, what really makes me seasick is wolf + bear, imo those need a bit quality of life change , i dont want to clean up my keyboard and monitor every mile or so...
edit : i spot a fair number of "normal " camels around, but im pretty sure i never met another electric one… am i alone with that beast ?
I got the psijic camel from free crate and been riding it since. At first the screen was too bouncy so I switched to third person view and zoomed out. Looks cool now, so tall.
Camel is the worst mount in the game. I even got an Apex Camel and never use it.
It is even worse in reality - this motion sickness some experience in ESO is nothing compared to a real camel ride. I personally like the Hammerfell camel where it matches the environment. Another favorite of mine are guars and wildcats. But I prefer them in a more natural color and without glow or particle fluff.
Edit: I have to add it, because it would be unfair if not - I really love the Sorel horse which comes for free at level 10, it's one of my favorites too.

No but this isn't an asian themed game, either, there are no dojos in this game
Well, theoretically Morrowind province and Akaviri are what contitutes as 'asian' tamriel.
However, my slightly humorous post was to indicate that, despite all your professed mastery, you said 'no' to question posed.
Reality suggests however, that players do use the camel mount. One can only assume therefore, that your response is based on 'not getting out much'. Ergo, the metaphoric, dojo reference.
Mainly a Guar user but have used Frostbane Camel in the past for a laugh and like it. It seems strange riding one but think it adds to the fun. Might go on it again shortly anyway.
I use my camel only rarely, and only in the Alik'r Desert (because of course). I think they look amazing, but aren't terribly fun to ride because of the bouncing. The bear is worse. I WISH the bears were more fun to ride, because I think they look great, too.
