Does anyone actually use the camel mount?

I have a redguard stamsorc that uses the normal camel and a Kajhiit thief who uses the camel of ill omen. I think they are super cute. I can't get along with the bear mounts though, to me they look silly waddling around but that is just my opinion. :) I mostly use senches and horses though.

I use them. Camels are awesome.

    That was painful to watch.

But I'd use a camel if I had one

I did but they took his laugh away this patch.

I guess all they want are sad camels.

Rngeezus gave me the electric camel out of the box - and i hated it.
Started to use it on my Argonian, and never changed it since then - it´s awesome :)
Riding this beast is fairly ok, what really makes me seasick is wolf + bear, imo those need a bit quality of life change , i dont want to clean up my keyboard and monitor every mile or so... :#
edit : i spot a fair number of "normal " camels around, but im pretty sure i never met another electric one… am i alone with that beast ?

i actually just got one in my free dwarven crate.

I use it for my Redguard character exclusively. Although the movements seem slower, I'm sure he covers more ground per stride. The up-and-down motion is hard to get used to, and somewhat comical, but I persist. I'm rather fond of my humped mount now.

I was reading this earlier this morning and I finally got on, and switched to my camel mount which I haven't used yet really (usually play a stamblade nord), and don't have a bear, and tested out this "motion sickness" claim. It is said by other that the whole camera is fixed on the player, and makes the whole screen sway with the motion of the players body riding said mount.

Maybe I have some sort of setting changed but for me, the camera stays 100% still behind my player who is doing quite a bit of bobbing on the camel.

Why are others having their whole camera sway while riding if this is not the case for me?

I am playing on my macbook if that matters.

Just wanted to add my 2 cents and ask about why it would be different for different people, cheers!

I have gotten two in crates, an ornate Somerset one and recently a dwemer one. Riding them is a bit funky as the hop as much as gallop but I still enjoy them from time to time.

I do but only because I use the add-on mount and my mounts are rotated. They look a little weird when you go running. But overall I like them.

I have the skeleton camel mount and I like it. Who doesn't like a mount that spits?

He's not as cute as my Nix Ox mount, but I think it's cool.

I use the Black Camel all the time. I don't use anything too flashy in cyrodiil especially, less likely to be noticed in the distance. I admit it's a little bouncy though

My two favorites are my Elk and my wolf. I particularly like the wolf because it seems to be able to make hair-pin turns better and is fairly silent at a run compared to the Elk.

I didn't know that the camels spit... now I will have to try one. I just received a Dwarven camel from a crate, but he doesn't seem to spit, so will have to go find a normal one!

When do we get a flying carpet..

Redguards use horses as much as camels just a heads up..

well, I've had flying carpets in my houses for a while. There's an add-on called Flying Carpet. It's really helpful in many cases for decorating.

I'm always returning to my Senches (Black or Striped) - they are running smooth and are rather quiet.
The Camel is annoying to ride - too tall (will not fit through where other mounts easily will) and seasickness is an issue (at least I find the riding annoying).

I'm on Xbox one, NA server. Camels look cool, the spit animation is hysterical. However, I just can't ride them because, galloping + rapids = "make it STAAAAAAAPP!!!!"

I rode a camel for an entire summer a couple of decades ago. I hated her and she hated me. But I didn't get motion sickness, which I do in game. I went looking for my roots. My ancestors come from Lawrence of Arabia land, I have a couple of Ra'gada with my name, but we ride the zebra, one of the only mounts I ever bought with crowns from subbing, east, west and southern Africa for the win. Just ride fast when you see a lion kimosabe.
