(1 item) Adds 129 Weapon Damage
(1 item) Adds 129 Spell Damage
(2 items) When you use an Ultimate ability, you gain Weapon and Spell Damage for 10 seconds equal to twice the amount of total Ultimate consumed.

Is it too powerful? Is the buff too short? Is it fine as is? Experiences with the set in PvP/PvE?

For wardens, you abuse shimmering shield to proc it faster and 2h carve for more ulti. For bgs you farm undead mobs while in que to have full ulti for the match

Well what should we tell you ? Does roughly 1400 weapon damage for 10 seconds seem not OP to you ?

    If I have it...it's a tad low...

If my opponent has it ,it's obviously hugely overpowered ...o.O

Actually looks extremely underwhelming. You're better off running 1p of this and 1p of kena. The uptime is a joke.

    Decent for ganking.
Unless in every other practical instance. Saving ultimate to get the 1000 extra damage buff is a DPS loss in most cases outside the start of an encounter and only classes that have fast ultimate regen on them and can keep the buff up consistently enough are getting, at best, 1 epic (not even Legendary) jewelry glyph worth of extra damage with it up, which does not make up for the damage you lose running literally any other monster set.

It is white, hot TRASH!!! Not worth the aggravation to farm, even on a gank build. Good gank build will kill you with or without the buff, its just more a safety net for ganking to ensure you get the kill is all.

In PVE it is still very weak. About equal to wearing 2 mismatched 1 pc monster sets (like Kena + Domihaus).

I haven’t used it in PVP, it’s probably being used to save up 500 ultimate and gank with 1000 extra weapon and spell damage. I doubt this actually gives more burst than something like Velidreth, Skoria or Zaan, and the effective cooldown is over two minutes to save up 500 ulti again.

It's quite powerful in PVP, useless in PVE. Makes sense because it's great for burst but burst is worthless in PVE. I actually really like the set though and wouldn't want it reflexively nerfed. One change I could forsee ZOS taking is to either cap the total amount granted or switch it to twice the cost of the ultimate, instead of twice the ulti consumed.

ZOS probably doesn't realize that it's using the 500 ultimate pool.

Because I don’t know all the ultimates, what ultimate uses 500 points? Seems best served so far when activating WW but then again there is a lot I don’t know about bis and the meta.
    Just curious?

It doesnt need to cost 500 ulti. It says total ulti consumed, so let's say you have 500 ulti and used dawnbreaker which costs 120 (templar here), you get bonus of 500 ulti not 120.

At 500 ulti it’s giving my stamplar 1400 damage. Now in practice, you won’t get to that much ulti often. But even at roughly dawnbreaker cost it’s giving about 500 damage which is very strong. Is it op? No.

The set is well designed in that it makes you have to put thought into getting the most out of it. Dropping ultis at the right time, coordinating with group members for the greatest effect, etc. It’s engaging and rewards good gameplay. This is 100% preferable to sets that just give you free brainless proc damage. We need more sets like this zos.

There are at least some pre-made BG groups who farm 500 ulti between ques.

They start the team deathmatch with the ulti burst ready to go then after the first skirmish they just swap to a secondary monster set.

Imagine if they got the damage Sigil too 30k leaps incoming lol. Well Sigil is turned off for now thankfully

But yeah, idk how meta it is, or will be

It does. However for a DK to be able to sustain long enough to build 500 ult in combat, they are going to be running a lot of regen = less damage to begin with.
ZOS probably doesn't realize that it's using the 500 ultimate pool.

They not only know, but a dev posted in the PTS forum that this was the intended behavior. It used ultimate consumed.

its "alright" its very interesting as well.

Its not busted because it only lasts for 10 seconds and frankly it only really benefits those who can immediately do burst damage after using an ult.

DKs gain a lot out of it tbh and im losing it for that.

Its "OK" on werewolf but you need to land everything for it to be worth it. I.e Werewolf ult procing the set grants you 600 weapon damage for 10 seconds. 2 seconds of that are lost on transformation.

Works well on my bombblade, I now have almost 4.7k spell damage during a bomb. Only effects proxy and sap however, tether doesnt gain any benefits as its instant and wont gain any spell damage benefits. Still extremely good on a x3 bloodthirsty build or 2x for that matter. However if you have below 40k mag while using this set and bloodthirsty jewlery trains I highly advise transmuting some jewlery to arcane to stay above 40k mag.

Pretty good on sorcs as are most.

As for stam builds Idk just yet beyond WW builds.

Basically this. It’s a small scale dream for ultimate-driven burst. I’ve been using it on a stamwarden where I’m mostly kiting around, building a fury stack, and dropping it with other DBs where our intent is to be able to kill players through earthgore procs. So far it seems good at that. Even with just dawnbreaker on cooldown it provides an additional 250 weapon damage and almost hunding-like stats. Though if you parse that as weapon damage over time the 2 piece only adds something in the low 100s. It’s excellent for the discerning ultimate user or bomber, but it has poor use when you’re solo and on the defensive backfoot unless you’re really able to kite the heck out of solo players (which you can).

The whole point of this set was to give WWs a huge burst boost when they transform, as the transformation has a high ult cost. It performs that function.
