Obviously if you are presently playing the character the furnishing is based on, it would be invisible for you and for everyone else. This would help houses feel more alive and it would be SUPER cool seeing 2+ of your characters at the same time.

IDEA LIST:
Put your main on a bed in your house with /sleep so you can see them resting while not playing.
Fresh lvl 3 in starting outfit using /hammerlow on something in your house to imitate a hired worker doing repairs.
Thematically appropriate toons. Guards in Imperial getup for the big Imperial estate, a court jester for the overlook, toons wearing curator/factotum poly for CWC house, toons wearing Xivkyn/Maelstrom poly for the coldharbour house. Argonians doing /sweep in your Dunmer's mushroom. Endless possibilities.
Maybe tack it on to ESO plus to make it profitable?

I like the idea a lot. First i would like more slots though honestly

It's a great idea, but I wouldn't advise holding your breath, as people have been asking for this--to no avail--for over a year now.
make this happen so he can stop spamming this post on my discord

I like (and understand) this idea. I did not get your other idea (furnishings as characters fighting alongside you).
Not working for Zos I wouldn’t know, but I’ve seen others bring up in threads on the same topic that this would likely be very difficult technically. Imaginably, having customized characters who just /emote loop (or possibly personality loop) would be feasible, if challenging (think what pets/mounts do as furnishings currently). Pathing characters for them to move around at all, interact with objects, etc., would likely be way too intensive for ZoS to consider implementing. Sounds like you’re asking for the former, so could hopefully be implemented as part of a QoL patch. Homestead 2.0?
But if this is feasible in any capacity, I’m all for it. Let my characters be friends, Zos.
i love the idea.... bringing more life to your property.

I found this idea really interesting; In a sense, yeah this would be totally cool and would definitely add something to housing.
On the other side, I am not personally convinced I would enjoy seeing my own characters doing repetitive things like robot (especially with some bugs as background...); Because, by essential definition, I am the only one supposed to be able to interpret them... Breaking this rule won't make it imo, so I would suggest that your idea applies more generally to lambda NPCS (that you would be free to shape, call and dress as it please you - including as some of your character ofc).
Finally, the funniest part of this new feature would clearly be the design and 'programming' of those NPCs I guess.lassitershawn wrote: »This would help houses feel more alive and it would be SUPER cool seeing 2+ of your characters at the same time.
I understand 100% what you mean but don't think this is the way to achieve it ultimately. In fact, fun comics or fan fictions, fan Arts or photoshopped scenes - well, YOUR IMAGINATION basically - will always do the work better, and maybe that's why we like ESO so much (In addition to it's very addictive GamePlay...), because it makes us DREAMdodgehopper_ESO wrote: »I am more interested in 'craftable' npc's. As said, i agree. And yes, not even for crafted-npc but in general - a /singRedDiamond emote is missing yet!!
ps: help me getting my 1st star, and visit this topic too! Baby Horker
