Just had a cool idea. Onslaught refunds the cost of ultimate if the enemy dies from the blow. The new balorgh set can give up to 1000 weapon damage if you save the ultimate long enough. I'm thinking about rune-cage to onslaught for guaranteed hit, maybe throw in clever alchemist for extra shablam and you'll be 1-shotting people left and right. My only question is whether onslaught only refunds the 150 ult cost or if it will refund the amount of ult consumed because this could be really deadly.

Aren't both dodgeable?

Very very much so.
The fear idea or petrify would work better if you are in range.
Does Balorgh really give you all your charged ultimate points ? Does it not give you only the cost of that ult ?

Seems legit

Does the balorgh damage buff apply to the ultimate which triggered it? Or is the buff only applied to you after the ultimate has been used?
I would guess it is the latter, since the size of the buff depends on the amount of ultimate consumed, which is only known after the ultimate has been used.
Could also use fear, cloak, onslaught for guaranteed crit and bonus stealth damage but I don't own a cheeseblade.

The amount given was not consistent. I got 1000 wpn dmg from 150 once and only 300 ish when at 500. And another test at 249 gave only around 300 as well. NOTE. This was tested on current PTS as of writing so the wpn dmg about might have been fixed on live. But I think its intended to give 1000 wpn dmg at 500 ultimate consumed, otherwise it would have probably given me a fixed amount everytime. Can someone with the set test on live to confirm if its fixed, broken or unintended?

I'm not on PC so I can't help, but I think I remember reading in the PTS forum that people were saying Balorgh buffs based on your previous ultimate, not the one you have just used. I assumed this was a bug and would be fixed but I don't know as I can't test it. Anyone have more information?
