Error 326 Character Locked

Hello All.
After applying the new patch to the game, i played for hours without a problem. Then suddenly i was kicked from the server back to login in screen. After logging in again i found that my character has been renamed from Schwarzfuchs to 4Schwarzfuchs 3. The play button was gone and there was only a rename button, why i have no idea, my name doesnt brake any rules (its simply Blackfox in german). But hell, renamed my character. But after that when hitting the play button i got this error message "Error 326 (6:3:787:2) Character is currently locked" and thats it.
I cannot log in for over eight hours now, i have done nothing wrong, also did send a ticket to support, but if thats not solved soon, the early access is over. This problem is really unnecessary, and the error code isnt even mentioned in the knowledge base or the error code thread. Anybody else having that problem or maybe got an idea for a solution ?

    My guess? A none native German speaker did not get the difference between a "n" and an "r" and reported you.

    That being said... those two letters do indeed look a little alike and if you dont pay attention you might come to the conclusion this name is... well... shall we say "inappropriate".
    Talk to German support. They might get the difference but honestly I think most non-native speakers would not and would probably classify that name as a troll attempt.

    I use that name in most games for the last ten years and never had any issues before. Its nothing rude or bad about it. And if somebody reported me because they thought it could be offensive, i would think that zenimax used at least google translator before blindly banning some player who has done absolutly nothing wrong (and who wont make a subscription if he cant play his character). And as I wrote I changed my char name, to Flynn Blackfox, but i still cant log in to my char. Always this error 326.
    Just have to say i am really unhappy with all of this and i want my character unlocked :'(

    Still cannot play, submitted three very friendly and polite tickets to support and became friendly anwers per mail, telling me they are sorry for the inconvenience and blablabla and that they will fix that for me, and i still cannot play.
    I mean sorry but PLEASE UNLOCK MY CHARACTER. Thats a joke. I am now locked for more than one day without doing anything wrong, without any explanation why i loose more than a day from my early access and cannot log into my char, and absolutly no one at zenimax does anything to help me

    my guess is the word *** if u read the agreement says, words that lead you into a bad word, miss phrased or misspelled.

    so the word ***leads to.... I can even type a phrase from ur name, because the system in the forum is not allowing it.

    I already renamed my char to Flynn Blackfox even if there was nothing wrong with Schwarzfuchs ! But thats not enough as it seems, still Error 326. And support wont help me, so what can i do

    Even after entering my subscription and my account tells me Active I still get the error 326. Maybe my UserID is the problem but i cannot change that, shouldnt have let me take it in the first place!
    But the really frustrating part is, that noone helps me. Got a game for 55 euros, could play it for two days and thats it. Now my character/account is locked and noone at zenimax is able or willing to just unlock me so i can play

    Just got this as well used a name ive been using since vanilla wow whatever find it offensive ill change it but to lock me out BS. Blizzard nor EA ever did this to me

    The players that are doing it are most likely RP'ers. When I first began playing WoW, I rolled my first toon over on a PVP-RP server because a RL friend was playing over there. I was given plenty of advance warning to not name my toon in any way that might get it reported. I guess the names I chose were good enough not to be reported, but one of my Bank Guilds over there got reported for not being RP enough... I eventually moved to a higher pop PvE server.

    I question the decision to combine PvP'ers, RP'ers, and PvE'ers on one server, this is bound to cause even bigger problems for all groups in the future. (Harassment, etc.) It might be a good idea to create a separate server for each play style.

    I'm having the exact same problem and have sent and received several emails. NONE of which were helpful, just seemingly automated crud about it being maintenance or connectivity issues. Not impressed at all.

    I am really sorry to hear you have the same problem, but i am kind of glad since i thought i was the only one. My char is still locked, lol, its launch day and i cant play, good that i preordered. I had the suspicion, that maybe my UserID (which i cannot change in the account profile) is maybe causing the problem for me.
    I send several tickets to support, but all i got (beside two answers telling me that eso is now live and I shouldnt have problems anymore, lol) were the promises that my problem is send to the right department and i will hear from them. But nothing. Utter silence.
    I mean how hard is it for one support agent to open the accounts and unlock us or tell us why we were locked in the first place, because not everybody who had to change the name of a character had this problems as far as i read in other threads.
    Sorry zenimax but its a joke how you treat your customers.
    Its not about rename a char, but locking an acccount with no further explanation, taking away free play time (or rather time bought with purchase of the game) and do nothing to really help this people to get in the game but sending them half automated answer mails on their tickets, telling them everything will be allright, sometime, is rather weak....

    Luckly is just my main character that is locked but i put alot of time into him. To loose him over a having a "offensive" name is a little extreme to say the least. Its not very comferting knowing that our german buddy is still locked out :(

    I am more of a one character guy in online rpgs, rather concentrating on one char. that means i cannot play at all now, reading alot in my kindle last days. Didnt try to make a new char, but i dont want to ! I want to play my character, dont think that isnt too much to ask for. I even had to rename it, and i hate it so much when i dont get my name for my character, and even that is not enough to let me play again ???? i think Flynn Blackfox is quite a nice name for a character, so let me play the game i paid for with my character. PLEASE ?
    This is madness, complete and utter madness :s

    Sorry to tell you that, but even after i got answers by support, it didnt change my situation in any way, but hey, we still got hope..... somewhere....
    Sorry that you are having the same problem. Ruined my early access and launch, think this was the most frustrating launch of a game for me personally, and I never EVER had any account or character banned/suspended before. Quite insulting

    well i have had a account banned but that is cause i was botting lol. but that was a long time ago during the BC era. Still............ they should be fixing this , they cant fix something like this makes me a little scared for later on in the game :(

    yeah they called me back and told me the lock is for 24 hours. I dont have much faith at the moment. Guy said my account has no dispenary action taken against it but i am still locked out of my character *hrm* i take it they have no idea why this is happening and are coming up with excuses at the moment

    My lock is for sure alot longer than 24 hours now, I cant understand whats so difficult about it. Support agent gets ticket, opens the account and press the unlock button or whatever it is.
    I mean it wasnt so hard for them to lock us in the first place (for no reason in my case than that they dont know the german word Fuchs for Fox, but of course they release in german language), and now its so hard to unlock the chars again ???

    You know that you have fox animals in your game, zenimax ? i play the game in english but in the german translation is the animal name censored too when aiming at them ???

    Mine is definitely over 24 hours. Going on 40 hours now. Maybe mine is 48?

    Same issue. Was kicked out of the game last night, and wasn't able to play the character again. I tried it this morning and afternoon, still locked. After submitting and email ticket about this, I was given the incredibly false response of

    "You have unfortunately suffered a connectivity issue due to too many players trying to log in at the same time. "

    I then asked support to call me, which they just did. Unfortunately, all they told me over the phone was that

    "Multiple customers are having this issue, but we don't know what it is and don't have an ETA of a fix. But we'll contact you when it is fixed."

    IMO, this is pretty poor support. I am glad that I was able to pay for early access, and not receive it.

    Did you guys get your character unlocked yet? Mine just got locked maybe 3 hours ago, I guess I should give up hope for playing with my main character tonight. That really stinks.
