I have to say, that crown increase just seems so minuscule that I'm not sure why they bothered.. I'm not complaining about more stuff, but it just seems a little silly. Its not like its enough to actually make eso+ more attractive so I don't really understand the purpose. Maybe its just to aggravate my OCD more by making my number of crowns not be a nice round number...

On the other side, 19,800 per year is not really an odd number either.

I would have really loved the crown store banker being able to access guild stores if you are an ESO+ subscriber. More crowns...ok.. well I won't benefit unless I renew in 5 months. Free item.. if its bound and I don't want it, its tossed (much like rewards items now), the banker having guild access has been a long time coming.. and would really sweeten the ESO+ deal.

For over two years ZOS got at _least_ AU500 bux a year out of me, but they kept on sucking the fun out of the game and now they get 0. It will stay that way until/unless they re-inject a whole lot more fun back into the game and get rid of the grind, try-hard gating and excessive monetisation - you don't need to coerce me into throwing $$$ at you ZOS, just give me my fun back...

It's funny... reading some of these posts... ZOS is 'damned if they do, damned if they don't'. People want additional things added to ESO+... ZOS increases Crowns, adds free items monthly... but for some THAT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Well, from many of their posts, for these people, NOTHING WILL EVER be 'good enough' when it comes to ZOS.

I, for one, have subscribed from the very first day that I started playing over three years ago, and will continue to sub and support the developers of the game I LOVE playing!!

When they sent out surveys after the free eso+ events, there was a question in there, something like- "Would you be more likely to subscribe to eso+ if the crown amount was increased to 2000?" Not enough people said yes to that apparently, so they went with only 150?

I'm not happ that before they released the game, they marketed it as a sub model only with "NO paygates", sub does a job of keeping out the [snip], and no paygating means the community isn't split up. They gave us craglorn, then the 2nd update comes, they scrap the sub, [snip] floods in, then paygate us, but also make it so the sub is still needed because the craftbag is OP P2W.

Just give us an option to buy the craft bag so we can all be done with ESO+ and just pay for DLCs

150 extra crowns when pets went from 500 to 1000, mounts cost 3000+, motifs cost 5000, absurdly overpriced outfit slots that aren't even account-wide, etc... 150 is a joke with how absurd the prices for everything is.

While this is true, that stuff got more expensive, none of those are necessary. Players are getting a free mount even at level 10, so any more mount is just a luxury, they do not perform any better than the sorel horse. Subscription will grant you 19,800 crowns per year with this new setup. It will certainly not buy you all you might want, but it is still a decent sum to buy quite a lot of not too overpriced items. Well, and you might be able to afford one or the other overpriced thing as well from these crowns. And then, we do not know yet, what else we will get with the changes - not exactly - so let's wait and see.

I suspect this is an attempt to stabilize the revenue stream as purchases from the Crown Store are too unstable for proper budgeting (I could have told them this months ago and saved everyone's damn time).

The price won't change. This is an attempt to bring more people into a subscription, which will make it easier to budget the money as the revenue stream stabilizes.

If ZoS really wants to get people to subscribe, they should offer a 25% discount from the Crown Store. It's not like any of these digital items has a cost overhead.

As for the original topic, I personally do not want the free item. Frankly, I spend more time destroying the free items we get from the daily login reward, as I find them useless. I personally wish these items weren't account bound so I could at least give them away to people who actually want them.

That's awesome about the ESO+ upgrades, just hope the price stays the same though
