I'm pretty sure if you pay a 6 month sub you only get crowns once every 6 months, not monthly.

I think the Crown increase is fine, since we'll be getting a FREE item every month. Plus, with exclusive offers, they could be special items, old limited-time items or even special discounts. All together, that's pretty nice.

Most likely cosmetics related to the alliance war and battlegrounds. A place to put siege. Perhaps a 10 percent tel var boost? Unique costumes for pvp ranks. Better loot for bgs?

Makes good business sense to continue to promote ESO+ since it’s the most reliable and steady revenue firm the game and much more significant that just purchasing DLCs.

They gave us a fancy back pack that we can't see ourselves using. So, for PvP how about they give ESO+ subscribers fancy corpse markers that we can't see ourselves when we're dead. I just hate everyone having to make do with the same little white cross. It looks like we are all supposed to be equal in death or something. What's that all about?!

Exactly, that is my question too. I just bought a 6 month sub. I hope ZOS does the right thing and retro-acts the extra crowns but who knows.

That's a fair concern, but they have been doing surveys on ESO+ for the past year, especially after the ESO+ free trial days. Plus, they've had a stickied thread in the ESO/Crown Store subforum for over a year, so it sounds like they've been gathering ideas and have been discussing how to improve ESO+.

What they've added have been suggested many times in that thread - loyalty rewards, exclusive sales/deals in the CS, and increased monthly crowns allotment.

That is 10% more crowns than we got so far as ESO+ members. You get those in advance - like when you buy ESO+ for 6 month you get the 6x1500 crowns with the old rule - and 6x1650 with the new rule - 9900 crowns to spend are included.

Well, it depends on the view point I guess - I am anyway on ESO+, so to me that is an extra 10% in crowns, something extra each month in form of an item and eventually something extra to buy from the crown store with my extra crowns. So what is not to like with this - I did not expect it, so it is a welcome surprise to me.

If it is a move to enhance subscriptions though, I doubt that it will have a huge effect. But as a loyalty reward, it is welcome.

But when they said they were increasing crowns, I expected at least a decent increase. 150 isn't enough to buy anything of substance, and that's only a 900 crown increase for a 6 month sub. Not enough to really matter.

I'm a longtime subber so it's not a huge deal to me, but when they said they were going to increase the value, I expected something to, well...increase the value. I highly doubt people will be jumping at the chance for an extra 150 crowns.

My ESO+ renews in a few days so I was wondering about how that would affect those with the 6 month sub.

I was pretty excited to hear we were going to have some changes. Increased crowns, loyalty rewards, special crown store stuff all sound nice. The amount that the crowns were increased is odd though. I'd like to know more about all of the upcoming changes before I decide if the low crown increase makes any sense. They may need to double that number to get people excited. Even 300 additional crowns a month feels more reasonable to me though.

Exactly, it's not even an even number. The awkwardness of the amount leads me to conclude they wanted a flat 10% increase, which isn't much.

That being said, the loyalty rewards and "special offers" in the store might be worth it. I'll just wait and see.

Not going to lie, a siege weapon bag, or something along those lines sounds very nice. It would be nice to have a separate space specifically for siege items. They build of and take space so fast.

The math behind it is simple enough though. A flat 10% increase is easy and it gives them a good baseline to get feedback. Do too many people complain it wasn't enough?... bump it to 15% or 20%. However, If most people accept it, then it's not an overwhelming hit to their bottom line. Number one rule of bartering, start low or start high, depending on which side of the table you're on.
