Some races need to be improved

Underdog according to whom? This is the problem with the racial passives. Some people think that due to the lore the races are perfectly fine. Some don't like the way the lore is and want other races to be better at certain things. Some think that certain races should just be better at some things and bad at other things. Some think all races should be able to do all roles and all playstyles without advantage. Some only tout their favourite race to get buffs no matter what. So which of these groups gets to decide which race is the underdog and what the correction should be?

My first post in this discussion was a quote of a stupid suggestion and a sarcastic addition to that. Our friend, who's been arguing me about how Redguards should be shoehorned into Stamina roles, decided to have a go at me instead and left me with no other option but to troll him. I still think he's wrong when he says Redguards are "fine". I'm in the "all races are equal" category and him shoehorning the only race I want to play with, across all classes and roles, to a particular playstyle is unsavoury to me and quite a large collection of people to whom cosmetics personally matter more but feel forced to play something else. You feel that's balance because that's your idea of balance? Fine, then I get to cry about how much stronger RG should be too because I get to have my own idea of balance in turn and you should be supporting that. Otherwise you're just a *** hypocrite..

He did not decide that Redguard should be shoehorned into stamina roles. He merely stated that this is how things are right now. They're the top dog for PvE stamina DPS thanks to their sustain (which became a problem after sustain nerfs all over the board). So, nobody's trying to shoehorn any race into any role, it's just how things are right now, objectively. If you ask me, I do want all races to be equal (I've always been a proponent of moving racial passives into some sort of packages that can be selected independently of the race). Mind, it annoys me too, because I'm forced to stay with worse sustain because I like me my claws and fur. There is no balance now. Yes, if you're playing redguard, you're objectively (not because any of us wants to) shoehorned into stamina DPS role, but boosting redguard's health on top of that is not how you start fixing the situation, because people who want to play stamina DPS will feel even more pressure to be redguards.

Lets see, from race to race what I would add.
    • Saxhleel - add 3% more damage done with poison and disease.
    • Dunmer - whenever you take fire based damage you gain 500 magicka. Cooldown 5 seconds.
    • Nord - 6% stam regen. When you take frost based damage you heal for 5% max health, every 10 seconds.
    • Altmer - when you deal elemental damage, your next direct elemental damage of different type deals 5% more damage.
    • Khajiit - 6% max stamina, 3% max magicka
    • Bosmer - when you enter stealth you gain 3960 physical resistance. When you leave stealth this bonus resistance last for 5 seconds.
    • Breton - absorb 5% of magicka damage and gain 500 magicka. Cooldown 10 seconds for absorb and 5 seconds for magicka gain.
    • Redguard - every third consecutive weapon skill attack gain 100 base weapon damage.
    • Orsimer - When you block an attack gain 10 weapon and spell damage, up to 10 stacks.
    • Imperial - when you take damage gain 3% max stamina once per 10 seconds.

Khajiit needs 6% max Stamina added and get rid of the "Stealthy" passive that serves no purpose outside of cloaking in PvP on a Nightblade. 4 out of 5 Classes in the game gets no benefit from that passive. The damage advantage Khajiit once had over a year ago in PvE has been lost when sustain is much harder than on Redguard and when light/heavy attack damage was recently buffed to scale better with Stamina.
    • Increase Health Recovery by 20% and Stamina Recovery 10%.
    • Increase Max Stamina by 6%
    • Increase Weapon Critical by 8%.
Nord needs higher max Stamina. EP already has an overperforming tank race in Argonian and Nord is in a spot where it's just worse for tanking and bad as a DPS race. Nord should have the highest max Stamina in the game and it could be done lore wise by giving an additional Stamina boost when using a Drink just like with the Set Bone Pirate's Tatters.
    • Increase Max Stamina by 6% and Health Recovery by 20%
    • Increase Max Health by 9% and Cold Resistance by 2079
    • Increase Max Stamina by 2500 when a Drink buff is Active
And as to Breton they just need to buff the Magicka Mastery passive and increase Bretons DPS so it can compete with Dark Elf.
    • Increase Max Magicka by 10%
    • Increase Spell Resistance by 3960
    • Reduce Magicka Cost of abilities by 5% and increase Magic damage by 5%

Oh man, some of the changes are OP but I like it. Every race has an OP aspect under this and get distinguished.

I agree with all the proposed changes but Dunmer needs an increase on it's fire damage resist because right now Breton has more fire resist XD
