Was the Khajiit that designed this bridge trained?

Because this thing must be the owner of many an elder Khahiiti's broken bones, and I'd love to see someone pull a cart over that thing. I get the aesthetic and architectural purpose behind these arched bridges that you find all over Tamriel, but just why to such an extreme extent? It's horribly impractical. The ends of these bridges need to be much more gradually sloped to enable easy crossing.

Just google "step bridge" on google image and have a look at some of the insanely steep bridges in the real world, you will be surprised.

Worry no more. The bridge and all of Tamriel do not exist in the real world therefore no one, man, mer, or beast, has broken any bones or or tried to pull an actual cart over that bridge.

In Ancient Rome the highways were designed to go to the destination as directly as possible, which often meant some very steep inclines. And as someone else said, there are plenty of steep bridges in the modern world. It's a good workout for your Khajiit.

Yep, in Japan:

The perspective is skewed. It's still pretty steep, but not as steep as portrayed in this image.

Physics in Tamriel don't work the same as irl, nothing to worry about. This is an interesting observation, but honestly I've been on bridges even steeper at the base, even seen some elderly walk around them.

The funny part is, my horse can run across that bridge without a problem, but still get stuck on a blade of grass.

This one has never noticed the steepness of the bridges in Reaper’s March and Elsweyr.

Khajiit only notices the jingling of traveler’s pockets crossing the bridges ...

Yeah, it is not really that steep, but taken with a tele-objective, which distorts the perspective - still, it is a steep bridge. This tele-objective distortion can as well often be seen in videos, where the insane approach to certain airports in cross winds is shown, like to Kai Tak in Hongkong or Santiago in Chile - depending on the perspective the runway appears more or less steep, even it is nearly totally leveled.

The stairs in Cyrodiil are equally as dumb.
If you run down them mounted, you just kinda miss most of the stairs and land in a heap at the bottom missing half of your HP.

Just do it slowly - if you run down with your horse in overdrive, you shouldn't wonder when you and your mount get hurt.
