I think if Rune Cage is going to become dodge-able as well as no longer dealing damage unless not broken for the full duration, I believe Crystal Frag should stun again. Crystal Frag is a skill the can be blocked and rolled, therefore giving it counter-play option that aren't present for a skill like Rune Cage, which currently goes through both block and roll, where the target can be stunned in the exact frame that a Meteor, Light Attack Curse, and Endless Fury hit the person (which doesn't even take into account the possibility of enchant procs, implosion, or follow up skills) . Leave a vote on whether you think Crystal Fragments should stun like it did in previous patches.

Increase damage on frags by 20 percent. Runcage is sufficient. Instead of damage, add a debuff to it.

I don't know why they ever changed it to begin with. No one complained - it can be countered. (maybe, just maybe Wroebel got wacked by few and din like it!)

Its not a proc stun - the skill procs - then you still have to use it.

Im with you but i might even push it to 30% for the loss of empower and the 10% frag nerf.

Definitely would prefer that stunning over Rune Prison. It had plenty of counter play to it, it felt weighty and somewhat rewarding when you hit someone with it, it was a fun skill.

100% behind it stunning, even, like one of the replies I saw, having the base morph stun, then having 1 morph for damage and the other for instant cast chance.

You mean having the base skill for instant cast chance, then having 1 morph for damage and 1 for stun ?

Cause 1 morph for damage without proc chance is trash.

One funny thing about this is that the mage guards in Cyrodiil still stun with frags, whereas players cannot.

I'd love to see the stun come back. It could be blocked and dodged, which offered reasonable counter play. I really dislike rune cage and how buggy it is to break free from. I prefer things as they were pre-nerf to frags.

Yeah I meant that, sorry, lol. I should've typed it out better.

I want the stun back because then I can run elemental drain on my bar in place of rune cage

This is a PvP related post of course, but I personally miss the damage more. As some have already brought up, giving blast instant cast stun and frags its extra damage back would be great in my opinion.

It needs more damage for sure.
