a town guard. i failed miserably though. tamriel can be so cruel.

i killed the NPC rather easilly in my own self defence after it watched me accidentally steal a chamber pot instead of turning in a crafting writ, and i guess he thought that i deserve to die for such a heinous crime. and the next thing you know im getting diggled by a guard.

nonetheless i think the life of being an adventurer just isnt for me. i think im gonna take an arrow to the knee and become a town guard and live eternally.

I suppose something like vCoA hard mode solo or some of the other no dlc vet dungeons I've soloed on hard mode.

Back in the VR days it was Manimarco on my stamblade. Since this was a solo quest, I couldn't even ask for help in defeating him. That actually made me quit the game for a few months. Came back a few months later and rolled a Magplar. I dreaded the Manimarco fight when I got to it, He was still a challenge, but because I actually had some healing and survivability, I finally killed him. This was the first character I completed the main questline on. Molag Bal was actually a really fun fight.

Fast forward to Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood. I had a blast with those quest lines on my stamblade. He was build for stealth. Completed those and decided to try the dreaded "Manimarco fight" again. To my surprise, he went down like a sack of potatoes. Ended up finishing the main quest line on him. When I got to Molag Bal, he was still a challege. At least I had the stamina pool to dodge roll out of his AoEs.

Vardenfell comes out and I roll a Stamden. Completed the Vardenfell questline and saved the island from destruction. Since I was already CP level, I decided to do the main questline on my Warden. I basically facerolled the Manimarco fight and when it came time to dispatch Molag Bal, I basically just sat there not bothering to dodge anything and defeated him with ease.

I have yet to set foot in MA or vMA. Other than bragging righs, there's really nothing I'm interested in. I keep hearing horror stories of players trying to clear it and after 4-5 MONTHS of trying, they still haven't. I've already gone through that. I don't need that again. I play the game to have fun, not get stressed out.

Soloing the bosses in Imperial City. Nothing is harder than trying to fight the bosses with adds they spawn plus the adds around the district PLUS other players who show up to kill you. And the flag bosses in the Sewers. Ef these things.

I personally find that the last fight in vTI is one of the easiest last bosses in the game. It is so incredibly easy to cheese I can't believe anybody is struggling against it.

The hardest thing I've ever done was the last 25% of valkyn skorias health on a tank. When I killed him there wasn't a single platform left

      ME: vMA

It took a long time for me to get through it the first time, but once I did I have a much better sense of "new" mechanic reading.

I don't believe you have to be OP or nearly professional gamer status to clear vMA but you will need to learn from mistakes in how mechanics need to be executed, and this, is priceless in all future group content.

I think all who has cleared vMA at least once will always lead to "it made me a much better ESO gamer"

I haven't read every post on here but I'm pretty sure vMA has to be the most common one stated, but now, we all can say we are in the vMA club together, forever.

Agreed, she's certainly the easiest boss in the dungeon. But her ridiculous amount of hp made it difficult to not fall asleep. And it's stressful because if you lose your concentration and somehow die, you have to reload for another mind numbing session of boring button pushing and mouse clicking, to get a hat and bust that aren't even hers in the first place.

Early Access: Doshia, Gutsripper, and Mannimarco were all brutal, but extra points to ZOS for putting Ebonheart's Doshia in a tiny little cave where the Feast orbs would spawn outside the walls, and me as a NB had only the weakest whirlwind as an AOE, and a DOT poison arrow for range. Worst death loop. Finally went out, got my armor repaired, ultimate charged, bought potions, came in, and got it just barely. Gutsripper was murder, until I learned to stand on a table where it couldn't get me.

Current: Eh, everything's just don't stand in stupid, burn it down, maybe learn one mechanic. Tedious but doable. Doesn't mean I don't die, just means I know what I'm doing and making progress at it. At least the world bosses are fairly fast and everyone's happy when it's done, not much of a queue beyond zone-chatting "G for Griffon, will share". Queuing and dealing with people in dungeons is annoying.

The most annoying current content is the NPCs. The Sea Keep quest in Summerset has a soldier who stands IN FRONT OF YOU while you're trying to loot containers. There's a bit of that with the NPCs in the end of the Summerset quest, but Sea Keep is infuriating. No, stop talking to me, NPC, I want to play new recipe gachapon. Lockpicks again.
Kitty Rainbow Dash. pick, pick, stab.
