I was one of those who didn't realize you could tp for free from one wayshrine to others. Since I noticed the increased cost and couldn't afford to spend so much money, each time I needed to tp multiple times I was forced to wait till the cost went back to minimum. Often in a town, right next to a wayshrine. :(

LLol I just remember another one. Coming from skyrim and all, I actually used to use soul trap to fill gems. At this point I don't even understand why empty gems and soul trap are in the game

I still do that sometimes with lowbie characters. Or rather I use Soul Trap as a DoT when I don't have enough skills to fill up my bars.

I still recall my sweetie and I, running our spankin' new 7th characters wandered into a big ole' cavern and thought we are pretty tough, we can do this.

    Fungal Grotto. (before One Tamriel)

    Did not go well.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

I forget whether I mentioned this, but back when I was very first starting, I thought Restoration Staves were maybe like the "Heal Staff" in Final Fantasy games, where you heal the target of your attacks.

So, the very first time I get my hands on a Restoration Staff, I notice I can target NPCs with it. I decide to see how much it heals when I attack with it!

It didn't.... it didn't heal them. They punched me to death.

So I learned two things that day: One, Restoration Staves have a non-elemental Magic attack for their light/heavy attacks. Two, turn off "Attack Innocent NPCs."

Played in first person until I lost my group mates a gold key on Vet FG2 :(
Also did not know (or bother to find out) how to equip a second weapon/ bar swap until I'd gone to play on NA (which was after reaching VR2 on EU).

Oh and also... had pretty much all Attribute points stacked into health, because that's what I'd done in Skyrim...

Ok, I been playing game for 8+ months now, I was at level 621 yesterday when I learned this (now almost 625) and I didn't know we can directly teleport to clockwork city or cold harbour, I was using portals. I am so lazy that I never zoomed out map enough to see that. :Sigh:

Started craft research after 2 months in game
Wear random dropped stuff because lokked cool (Sets?, 5 pieces, 3 pieces, 2 pieces? no idea what is that)
    Travel to wayshrine paying gold
Mounting to wayshrine when I didnt had the gold to pay (lasted a month in this)
A toon can handle all, (altmer dk, tanking healing, dps  )
Learning after almost a year what is a rotation
Paying 12k for tempers before a ptch because they were going up (sadly was the opposite)
Joining to late a raid guild

Playing ESO in the first place

I never had the courage to type “x” or whatever in zone chat to join dolmen and world boss groups. :/ Until level 47.... after taking a Xanax. Because I was too afraid of screwing things up for the group having so little experience. Boy was I wrong and it was amazing fun.

jeeze oh man... If they enjoy it, that is awesome and I'm glad they are enjoying it

but in reality, FP in this game is so sickening in terms of motions and the zoom that I still find it remarkable that no one has had a health concern from using it.
