So far, last years event was much more fun. I thought I would help out in kyne yesterday, but it was pretty one sided all day and night. Had some good fights but mostly just got run over along with the rest of ad. Most of, if not all of the really experienced players that used to play on ad are all playing on other factions now. I understand why but, please realize that the ones who are left, really are new players. I spent a good amount of time explaining why armor sets are better than, as one player put it "quest sets" lol. Many of the ad that were on yesterday had no clue what they were doing. Maybe spread that love around a bit more. But ofc, do as you like, as normal. Have fun! : ))

Best ticks I had yesterday was a solo defense of Alessia, just 3 ep at the front door and I got a 55k tick and then popped over to Vivec and got a 78k tick defending roe in a zerg v zerg fight. I heard of some much bigger ones though.

Got in game yesterday and was running around... found a small scrum where a small number of EP outnumbered a small number of DC. We finished them off, happened to look down at one of the dead DC bodies, and it was An_An! I prayed over his body, and moved on...

Oh my gosh, yes.... Rather large pop, which was nice.... but wow, are there a bunch of noobs in there on all sides. A med. group of us EP were holding Bleaks (normally, this would be a HUGE zerg, but last night it was a med. group!) against a sieging massive sea of blue (had to outnumber us 3:1). They broke down the side, couldn't get it. Broke down the FD, still couldn't get in. We held the outpost with two holes in it for about 10min before a good sized group of them pushed in and overwhelmed us. Looked like a guild group organized the push and the rest finally followed. Good times, but wow...

That fight over KingsCrest…. wow.. good times.... They open FD, we keep them out, they pull down a wall and we defend both breaches. We get up the FD, holding them at the 2nd breach... then they finally push in and we fall back inside. They take down FD, we keep them out... they open the side and we push them back, rep the door, then just too many come in through the 2nd breach on the inner and get up top. Just a matter of time at that point, but the fight lasted a good 40min, outnumbered minimum 2:1. Good job, ZZ, but just too many blues.... Fun to see some familiar names on DC, Sway, outlaw, Gabrieb (sp????). Much AP was spread around tonight....

Yeah AD seems to have checked out of the event in Kyne. Found some familiar faces zerging in Sotha in the morning with 3 bars against virtually no DC or EP, so figured they took the easy route. Surprised though, considering the usual AD perma emp wasnt running this week. Thought they'd have a bigger drive because of it.

And we were happy EP gave us a decent fight later last night. We were very loosely organize at this point, but I guess that made the fight more fun. I wasnt sure I would like the siege changes since Summerset, but I feel like the fights are a lot more epic since. It has definitely forced us to be more strategic, you can't really just ball up and rush top while purging the ballista fire.

I think the biggest tick I saw in Kyne was when we (probably stupidly) defended Alessia when Outlaw was emp and we got a 80k d-tick. DC came prepared to this event, it's a little sad that we're missing some of the usual regular groups in the other factions.

Also next time EP please take the bait and come fight us at the Moth temple for the scroll

You know DC is always accused of zerging and lately that's been true.

When Gabe said "all to Bleaks, then Chal" then 4 raids of DC rolled in, it was perfect.

That's right, now you really know what a DC zerg is, you keep up the tbagging and &^%$ talking and we roll you to your tri keeps/gates. Just get better.(Does not include my lovely EP/AD friends.)

Yes I saw. It was cute. I'm good with it though. I dont mind if people make themselves feel good at my expense. At the end of the day, I'm still a successful business professional. I get to travel the world. I never have to worry about paying bills. I take vacations away from home. [snip]

Ya know, this event is meant to bring new players to pvp and show them how fun it is with the hopes that they will stay and grow our community. Roll an AD toon and witness for yourselves just how fun you have made it for them.

Not my fault your guilds are quitters. You guys litterally had 3 morning guilds at some point, and we stuck through it for the most part. They could try harder than they are now. We certainly had to not that long ago.
