it has been fairly well established that ZOS is fairly new to the MMO scene and needs the steady hand of their customers to guide them towards making informed decisions that benefit everyone, this would be one of those times.

It doesnt help that in the beginning a lot of players guided ZOS in all the wrong directions for some of the most insane reasons. It took them 3 years to finally come around to the idea of combat text and buff icons because players early on refused to have their screens cluttered. As if there werent any alternatives to combat text/no combat text. Same thing with text chat on consoles. Players on the forums would torpedo spam threads about the topic to silence anyone asking for it making some of the most selfish and unreasonable arguments against it in hopes it would turn into a flamewar and get shutdown.
I really dont see Guild updates coming anytime soon. Especially since Ive seen Matt Firor promise Guild Updates in the past, only for ZOS to never deliver. It was obviously so low on the list of priorities that when it came to things that needed to be axed it was the first to go.
Greetings, this is a friendly reminder that "bumping" is not permitted. This is outlined by our forum rules here. The exception is for guild recruitment threads.Thank you for your understanding.
Bumping without adding some new info IS spamming according to their house rules.Matthew_Galvanus wrote: »then it would be nice if we (the poster) had the ability to bump a thread without spamming it
...and there you have it. No "bumping", but you can add -new- ideas or thoughts... you can reply to new comments... and you can always link to your discussion whenever the topic comes up in other, similar discussions, to lure people into giving it a look and maybe commenting themselves.TheShadowScout wrote: »...and if you want to keep the discussion alive and unlocked, only post when you have something new to contribute. I have a feeling sooner or later we will have a DLC a la Homestead focused on player guilds that involves halls, new social interactions, quests, buildings, etc.
